Every gesture every nuance every note is so dead o n what old soul was living inside this child. My father Glauco Dattili was also a child star slightly earlier and when I look at his eyes in photos from that period its very earie because they are not the eyes of a child...
She had a feel for the music and for singing that style which someone her age can’t be taught. It obviously came naturally. Actually it can’t really be taught to anyone of any age. It’s intuitive. You either have it or you don’t.
This Little girl would grow up to have a long and wonderful career she opened the Flamingo Hotel in 46 and actually got into it with Ben Siegal over missing wages in hert paycheck not realizing who he was she argued over some Two or Three dollar amount. Its my favorite story about her
She is so damn cute!!! And you can see some of the mannerisms that she still had later in life - so cool!
RIP Baby Rose Marie - We love you!
its sad but she was ready
She's so wonderfully committed to the meaning and clarity of each word (and note). And she doesn't gloss over the scatted notes. What a rare natural!

For sure one of the top three child stars of all time which in my opinion are Judy Garland Michael Jackson and Baby Rose Marie....
