When scaling it is important to note that your stop loss should not be big and also there is room for prices to go up so you can get to acquire valuable trading results
I keep setting my stop loss a bit smaller than my take profits,then I wait for prices to create a fair valid gap before targeting other liquidity. But regardless I keep getting low trading outcomes

On the other hand it is always better to work with the guidance of a trading expert so you’ll have proper understanding on how to set your stop loss and when to take profits

I have been trading on a demo account for about 2 weeks now and this is exactly what I've been doing and it seems to work great. Bit more practice and learning yet b4 I dive into a Live account but this is definitely something I can see myself doing fulltime in the future, I have 3 kids now and a job that pays pretty well but still nowhere near enough to raise 3 kids on so I'm putting all my free time into studying the market as much as possible. I agree 100% with taking advice from others. I am big on “trust, but verify” through backtesting/demo trading. There are many profitable traders with different trading styles. What one trader sees, another may not, but they may both be profitable in the same market on the same day.

Scalping probably takes the most time to fully master; but once you do I am convinced it 1) is the most profitable of all trading styles 2) is the most SANE trading you can do, since you only spend 2-3 hours a MAX. (most of the times, I am done within an hour)

Great to see Ben's trades and insights. You can easily *change* the background color in Sierra Chart for the Sim/Live status -- so it's not a sure sign of the Sim account being used or not. I don't point that out to suggest anything Ben is suggesting isn't his live account -- you can easily see the "Sim" text in that status box is gone when the trades are live and it just shows "Trade" -- that's very clear. It's just to point out one of the features I love about Sierra Chart -- so much customization. Having used Sierra Chart for many years I find it my favorite. Far superior for me to platforms like NT8.

I just came across your channel and this video. I like your advice about risk reward and getting laughed at. As long as you end with more than what you started you’re profitable. I like your style
I aim for a 8% to 14% gain before I exit. Because I invest up $5000 in only 1 stock that I took the time to research. Many times in the past, I sat on 20% and 300% gains and I never sold because I thought the stock will keep going up. I learnes and became humble and now I invest in only 1 or 2 stocks in a day, I monitor them only for 10% gain then I'm out. 10% of $5000 is $500. Also I cut my losses at a -4 to 5% loss. This strategy has helped me to not lose money and to grow my account. Lastly, never ever buy the dip if you are at a 8% or more lose. Exit and take your L. Never fight the market. The market is alwaya right

Irrespective of your stop loss size, it is very essential to know when to take profit because that is where the actual gains comes in

I don't point that out to suggest anything Ben is suggesting isn't his live account -- you can easily see the "Sim" text in that status box is gone when the trades are live and it just shows "Trade" -- that's very clear. It's just to point out one of the features I love about Sierra Chart -- so much customization. Having used Sierra Chart for many years I find it my favorite. Far superior for me to platforms like NT8.

thank you dude your actually realest on this whole platform I've heard so much garbage out here saying that 1to1 is not profitable I've hard so much trash talk about support ad resistance and the funny thing is that i actually trade 1to1s and make money and support resistance. I also find this platform so discouraging from saying technical analysis patterns don't work but when i apply these same things that say don't work i make money lol i just feel so many people have to sell something and prey on weaknesses of other traders I've deleted UA-cam couple times now just cause im so overwhelmed with so much lies and i found your channel to be thee best and informative i truly want to say thank you for making it a reality on what's real what's not thanks man cheers from Canada yours truly Cody i wish you more success to come into your future.

I aim for a 8% to 14% gain before I exit. Because I invest up $5000 in only 1 stock that I took the time to research. Many times in the past, I sat on 20% and 300% gains and I never sold because I thought the stock will keep going up. I learnes and became humble and now I invest in only 1 or 2 stocks in a day, I monitor them only for 10% gain then I'm out. 10% of $5000 is $500. Also I cut my losses at a -4 to 5% loss. This strategy has helped me to not lose money and to grow my account. Lastly, never ever buy the dip if you are at a 8% or more lose. Exit and take your L. Never fight the market. The market is alwaya right
