2005 CRF250X Goes From a Desert Dueler to a Woods Weapon

I turned My sisters desert racer into the woods racer. This is a 2005 CRF250X with the 250R cam. This was my first test ride after getting it refurbished and ready for the woods.
List of changes to get it woods ready:
Carb rebuild
Fuel tank clean out
New air filter
Removed lowering link
Installed stock rear spring
Installed Tublis system front and rear
New Dunlop MX14 with matching front
New plastics and graphics
Oil change
New bark busters
New grips
New seat cover
New battery
New clutch/brake levers
FMF Power bomb
Flushed cooling system
Steering stabilizer is getting rebuilt
Let me know what else I should do.

My son raced a 2004 250x in 2015 and 2016 and was on the podium in 6 races and there were some people in his class that could not believe he was doing so well on that “old and heavy bike”, but it was what he could afford at the time. It taught him at a young age that it’s not the bike it’s the rider. Most people don’t realize how awesome these bikes are, still.

They really are great bikes. The R cam in this bike gives it a little more spiciness.
