Actually, there’s a train whistle in this song. During the breakdown towards the end of the song, you can hear it. It’s a little muffled under all the other instruments, but it’s there. And funny enough, those whistles are from a wooden train whistle that was used for this.

In a way, Will managed to both tell the story and predict the events to some extents in this song. Being told about Charles' reign of terror over the island, the requirements of offense and defense, the epic battle that involved a explosion and trapping the monster into a spiked grave.
The thing about this concept is yeah it's silly. But!! It's also really epic. When your on your armoured train firing a machine gun flame thrower rocket launcher or bigger machine gun at a demonic spider train that thirsts for blood, a song like this just fits🤣🤣

I usually don't like this heavy metal type of music, but those times where Will and the rest of the DAGames crew just nails it, I can't help wishing that I could actually reach that level so that I could properly sing along. I am so mad that it took the Founder's Pack #2 to find how great this song is.
As silly as the concept sounds, the whole ambience of the game is actually terrifying alongside its main monster. Will absolutely nailed it in capturing that whole feeling into this song!
I love how this game is completely unapologetic in its absurdity. Between Pickle Lady, the witch in the swamp, the surprise Slender segment (all three of which are my favorite side-quests), and not even bothering to explain Charles himself beyond "he's half-train, half-spider demon. that's it. what, you were expecting deep lore or something?" It's got that perfect mix of insanity that makes it really stand out from the rest of the indie horror genre.
The no need to over explain stuff is great. It's silly and wierd and there's no need to pretend it is deep. It's just. Here's a Witch. Here is Pickle Lady. Find and fight Charles. He's a giant spider train. But it's really well written and it makes sense logically.
Actually logistically the tank engine that Charles is (ignore the face and legs) would be used for either small passenger excursions or heavy goods up slopes, or most likely small rail tours. It's wheel profile would be meant for more traction than speed. Banger song tho.
The funny part about that is that the train you drive yourself in-game is Charles' class, just with a few modifications, and it can be upgraded in speed terms. If thats the case, that means that the train literally could've broken down at any time because of the intense pressure it was building up from sudden speed it wasn't built for.
Was listening to this song on Spotify before I received the YT notification and I'll simply say this, an absolute head banging song with amazing visuals for the lyrics that fit the song splendidly!😁👍

okay, hear me out, this song is not like its dagames. this is beyond perfection, the beat, the guitar, especially the 2 voices at 4:13! every dagames song has that feel to it that makes you think its a dagames song, but this one is waaay different. it feels like this would be recorded live, the crowd chanting "Brace for the freight train, for the freight train!" and thats why this song is my favorite song ever.

I usually don't like this heavy metal type of music, but those times where Will and the rest of the DAGames crew just nails it, I can't help wishing that I could actually reach that level so that I could properly sing along. I am so mad that it took the Founder's Pack #2 to find how great this song is.
As silly as the concept sounds, the whole ambience of the game is actually terrifying alongside its main monster. Will absolutely nailed it in capturing that whole feeling into this song!

I love how this game is completely unapologetic in its absurdity. Between Pickle Lady, the witch in the swamp, the surprise Slender segment (all three of which are my favorite side-quests), and not even bothering to explain Charles himself beyond "he's half-train, half-spider demon. that's it. what, you were expecting deep lore or something?" It's got that perfect mix of insanity that makes it really stand out from the rest of the indie horror genre.
The no need to over explain stuff is great. It's silly and wierd and there's no need to pretend it is deep.

But it's really well written and it makes sense logically.
Actually logistically the tank engine that Charles is (ignore the face and legs) would be used for either small passenger excursions or heavy goods up slopes, or most likely small rail tours. It's wheel profile would be meant for more traction than speed.

The funny part about that is that the train you drive yourself in-game is Charles' class, just with a few modifications, and it can be upgraded in speed terms. If thats the case, that means that the train literally could've broken down at any time because of the intense pressure it was building up from sudden speed it wasn't built for.

okay, hear me out, this song is not like its dagames. this is beyond perfection, the beat, the guitar, especially the 2 voices at 4:13! every dagames song has that feel to it that makes you think its a dagames song, but this one is waaay different. it feels like this would be recorded live, the crowd chanting "Brace for the freight train, for the freight train!" and thats why this song is my favorite song ever.
And just a day after recording and posting himself playing the amazing horror game, Dagames has made a song for it.
