I was at this show! I'm standing right in front of Abbath, short dark hair. Kinda hard to see me. There's another angle of the entire show that was shot from above and I can clearly see myself in that other one. I used to have the VHS of it but not anymore, can't seem to find that other version.
Immortal with Abbath could be the best band in the world. Van Halen, Led Zepplin, The Beatles, Kiss, and all other rock, black metal, and glam rock bands don't compare. There is no competition. Second, this concert is awesome. Abbath, Iscariah, and Horgh were the lineup for this band back in the day. Iscariah should have stayed in the band, he was the perfect bass player for Immortal. February 13, 2022, Sunday. USA.
Great show, I have these concert in the early 2004, when I was looking, Its was awesome, beside the circumptances at the beginig of the show, Immortal are a totally profesional band and in this ocassion they are prove it
Damn they was so tight and on point, carried right thru the guy that crowd surfed on the stage and messed up the guitars audio I think ? And at the beginning with the techs getting the mic stand fixed.. Abbath conducted the whole ordeal and the band as a whole knew what to do. Clap clap pure musician professionalism. All on top of being a beast performer, writer, and entertainer.. And that setlist was siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick pure Immortal at one of their best times. I'll just fan boi all over them 😆
They were never really tight and on point because Abbath is a lousy guitarist. Within the first few minutes he made so many mistakes. Missing the strings, playing in the wrong frets, not able to play a single clean arpeggio etc. Sorry but you can't call that "on point".
Tusen takk for posting this! have never seen Immortal 'live' so this was a total rush.Blashyrkh is my favorite Immortal song of all time and even more so 'live' now,

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Sadistic Intent opened for Immortal on this particular show. Another great band to have played with these Norwegian legends!
@@JorgeCastilloisLovisdad I'd love to know the backstory. "Hey all those songs we've been playing over in the studio for the new album - yeah nevermind those." Still a killer set. Hail Immortal!
I can't believe it.... I was there! I still have the actual ticket stub. 🤘

Its so sad I'll never be able to witness this peak Immortal.. What a sick setlist.
Right? Even without One By One or In My Kingdom Cold it’s the best setlist of their career
Thank you for sharing this great concert, the sound is perfect and they fill the room with their power

What’s the name of the intro tape ?
They fucking crushed Battles in the North.
This has to be earlier than 2000. Damned in Black was released late March 2000, and they played not one song from it?
Nope. You can google it and the whole set list. I was at this show.
