  • Once lost and feeling purposeless, Lt Col Chris Lozano shares his inspiring story of how he found his passion and purpose through the trials and tribulations of life.
Recorded during Lockdown this special edition #BeMyGuest episode of People with a Passion, podcast host Craig Rowe interviews Lozano about his journey from serving in the military for over 26 years with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan to becoming a college baseball coach, consultant, defense attorney, and musician.
In the podcast, Lozano talks about how he felt lost after losing his father as a young man, and how the military helped him find direction in life.
He shares his experience with depression, which never seemed to go away even after his retirement from the military.
But with the help of a close friend's suggestion, he rediscovered his passion for music and found that writing lyrics and playing music helped him manage his depression and heal part of his soul.
The experience of war has broken many men, but the loss of one of his sons hit his heart like no other experience.
Despite the devastating loss, Lozano never gave up and now works with youth as a college baseball coach, imparting life lessons to a new generation of young men.
He has survived navigating a real minefield and now helps others navigate life's challenges as a coach, consultant, defense attorney, and musician.
