Antisamos Beach, Kefalonia, Greece

Antisamos is a beach on the island of Kefalonia, in the western part of Greece. Kefalonia has rich traditions, charming villages and delicious food. It is known for its natural beauty, fascinating beaches with turquoise waters and mysterious sea caves full of secrets.
The landscape is different from other islands, it has fertile land with forests, rich in flora and fauna and fresh water springs. A little paradise on earth, waiting for you to explore.
Antisamos beach became famous when, in 2000, several scenes were filmed for the movie "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". Since then, Antisamos beach has become a tourist attraction.
