the s23u had an oversharpened look , with the s24u, samsung toned it down and now you get real detail instead of the oversharpened "fake detail" , i'm pretty sure you can further tone it down by adjusting the picture softening

Amazing review bro i appreciate that you loved the galaxy s24 ultra once again from a samsung knight its a very beautiful phone the ai features were pretty awesome too but the most importantly they actually make screen more better than last years versions and it is less reflective and you know samsung makes the most quality displays the cameras are superior in this phone too i hope you make a camera comparison against the iphone 15 pro max that would be great

There is an option in the camera assist app where you can adjust your smoothness, which will resolve the sharpness issue

I tested today S24 Ultra next to my S21 Ultra. Surpringly 10x zoom photos turned out to be sharper on the S21 Ultra. The S24 Ultra display had a much better reflection handling. The S21 Ultra is like a mirror next to it. But the S24 Ultra display is pale and washed out next to the S21 Ultra. Basically the vivid mode is not working. In the mode natural they look very similar. Some people are trying to sell you this bug as a feature. Natural colors are nothing new. And yes the S24 Ultra is brighter but not as much as I was thinking.
I love big screens, if they made an 8 incher I’d be right on it , 7 inch would be fine though.
And measured diagonal as it is at 8 inches , that would probably only make it another 3/4s of an inch taller.
And we already had phones that big in the past , but they fell by the wayside as I don’t think the hardware was that great back in those days.

Nick, is this the better phone to get or the S23 Ultra? Because the more natural tone display will stay according to Samsung and there are rumors about green line issue on new S24 Ultra. Other than that, are there any other issues that you have faced while using it?
This is definitely the better phone than S23 Ultra, it's got better battery, easier on the eye display, but if you just got to have super vibrant colors for now it's a pass, I'd wait for the next samsung update to see what they do with the screen if they do anything to boost colors

@@nickackermanchannel The colors of the S24 Ultra are actually ok if you use it by itself. But if you put a S21/S22 or S23 Ultra next to it, you will definitely see the difference. For example red looks more like orange.
Thanks for an absolutely amazing review again. Would love to see a comparison between Apple wallet and Google wallet. This would be so interesting as this is a very important feature that no one really reviews

If you want experience freedom then go for android .....

If you're willing to give yourself time to learn the OS then go for it. You'll find a lot of things on it that you won't find on iphones, small quality of life things. If there's an android phone to get, from an iPhone... it's this one.

I traded in my Z Fold 5, don’t miss that at all. The front screen was tiny plus it was restarting on me randomly so I think something was wrong with it. But I do have to say Samsung needs to change their design a little as it feels just like S22 Ultra did.
I have a ZF4, and I'm trading it in for the S24U. The fold phones are still very fragile, and expensive.

I do not think they took a page out of apples book with titanium I'm sure it took alot longer to develop then a few months. Back when samsung released the watch 5 pro in titanium that is probably when they decided to go with titanium on the s 24 ultra. When apple released it's ultra watch not one reviewer said apple copied samsung 😂

I also hate the over processed, over sharpened images that the Samsung phones put out and wish they would just tone it down. I think it would be a much better camera if they did 👌🏾

there's already a setting for the over sharpening. look it up in the settings before you make a video it's in the camera assistant-picture softening you can adjust it to medium or high. tinkey with it before posting a video so you'll know what you're talking about. Just my two cents it will help you to be a better reviewer.
Thank you for sharing however even after playing with settings the images have a sharpened look compared to iPhone and Pixel
@@nickackermanchannel would have been better if we saw that in the video just so we'd know what it looks like with the picture softening turned on to off, medium and high coz I highly doubt that when you put it to the highest setting it would still be over sharpened. besides, the pixel is the worst when it comes to overshapening and over hds that the photos look unrealistic.

I got $800 for my S22 Ultra but that was through my Carrier.
Only reason why I upgraded besides the flat display.
Samsung needs to address some issues like laggy typing on UA-cam, no Brightness Setting for AOD & the Display but the display doesn't bother me.
Just watch a 8k video on UA-cam.

Apple doesn’t want to give you a phone 📱 that can do everything like Samsung because Apple wants to sell you more devices. Samsung doesn’t care about that. I mean think about it. You can’t multitask on an iPhone and it would be so easy to do. There is no Apple Pen for the phone I’m basically waiting for all my Apple products to age out then make the switch I didn’t want to leave Apple 🍎 but they left me. And Siri is absolutely TRASH 🗑️ and it is embarrassing Apple is so lazy my iPhone 15 Pro Max feels like my iPhone 📱 13 Pro Max they never evolve.
