(Spoilers) I like how no one in this story is really a villain, but are just at odds with Penny or justifiably upset. - Eddie seems to be good at ruling, and everyone seems to want to keep him around, he also likes Penny's performance before Yo-yo humiliates him by accident in front of a crowd for no reason. He also realizes on his own that he was wrong. - Sheila is probably the least reasonable, but she tried to achieve a dream only to have Penny confidently cut the line and deny her a chance. When penny helps her by making the ship seaworthy, shes willing to bury the hatchet. - Rufus isnt just a hanging judge, Penny genuinely did commit the crimes he accuses her of after the audition, and when he sees that Yo-yo has a mind of its own, he adjusts the penalty accordingly and questions how bad penny is. - Taboo is more or less just testing Penny, and the final battle is less her trying to take control, and more helping both Eddie and Penny at the same time by turning the fight into a spectacle. - Mr. Q is the most enigmatic, but hes the court magician because hes genuinly trusted and knows what hes doing. He also sees Pennys potential and wants Eddie to be happy and into performing again as a friend.
Let's not forget the penguins. Even the penguins were just doing their jobs as guards. You gotta hand it to their dedication to chasing down a supposed criminal!
You know, i find it rather unbelievable how this game was created by the same team of Sonic Mania, but there are parts of it that actually make sense, considering how everything looks. Speaking of Mania, imagine a crossover between the two? Can you think how fun it would be.
An action-packed platformer where you face a puppet version of yourself and the final Boss was someone that assisted you that also happened to create that opponent. Now where have I seen that before. Joking aside, this game is amazing. Love the art style, the animation and the music.
@@Victini7472 The Glitch Fairy. It's a 2D Platformer but the kinds of Bosses you face are similar to this one, such as a puppet version of the character you play as.
@@Victini7472 Give it a try and see what you think. While it has original characters, the influences from Touhou, Kirby and Mega Man are there, which is cool to see.
Been torn between getting this and Splat: Side Order, would you happen to know how many hours this game is so I can make a better judgment on the decision?
@@MusicJunkie37it ain't a real fan if they use it as a scapegoat to rip other games apart, lol. After all, Antonblast, the Wario games and PT's bunch coexist

Yoyo is the true villain
@@Generis_malewifesomeone gets it

Now we need this to be a series that ends up having Kirby level depth to it's lore
You know, i find it rather unbelievable how this game was created by the same team of Sonic Mania, but there are parts of it that actually make sense, considering how everything looks. Speaking of Mania, imagine a crossover between the two? Can you think how fun it would be.
The colors and designs look like something from a Genesis game, so it makes sense.
I find it very easy to believe it’s by sega.
As someone who cant stand looking at it, I have to agree. It's just so hard to believe
That explains why this reminds me of sonic so much
@@bobalinx8762 Yeah, that was something that maked sense in my mind, even the music somehow helps it to remind of those times.
I wish more judges in videogames were like Rufus. I swear I lost a lung when he said 'Then make your new act a comedy'.

I thought you were talking about a hat in time with the puppet being snatchers puppets
This gives A Hat in Time vibes, doesn't it
That's the first thing I thought when I saw this
Beautiful and fun game mania's dev team were cooking something serious with this let them back in the kitchen we need a sequel.
Penny is such a cinnamon roll
She is, I want to hug her
I can't help but think this has hints of mischief makers as inspiration for the artstyle.
This looks colorful and fun! The up close animations at the beginning looked a little jank but this game looks super rad!
I'm going to wait for this game to come on sale before I buy it
@@LilDemonaI just finished the game, I'd definitely wait on a sale. Tons of fun but not sure it was worth the $30 price tag.
@@LlamaLung Where I'm from this game costs $40
@@LilDemona well then definitely wait for a sale.
It’s nice to see some of the sonic mania team creating games of their own with their own flair! (Also the ost goes hard)
2:41 oh hey isn’t that the Kirby thing with the waddle dees but with penguins
Guys...I have a theory
Since no one said it, I will.
Taboo is hot.
I hardly agree with u
ah yes I love Penny Demeanor
This gives me vibes that penny should be in smash bros

Nice video!
So funny and animated
Awesome guitar
Awesome
The fact how this game is made from the same creators for sonic mania is wild. THIS GAME LOOKS LIKE A MEGADRIVE SATURN GAME

Great
Holy YoYo, it's Whisk from Sunset Paradise!
It’s nice to see the sonic mania team make a game like this the ost and the artstyle beats hard tho 💯
oh hell nah she pulled out the kirby wheel for the final boss
El yo-yo rueda se parece mucho a wheely del kirby
This gives me strong Digital circus vibes

Being in the same genre as another games is hardly copying it. Other than a focus on fluidity and combos, the two play very differently.
