Sad but true that's why I don't blame old heads of why they don't listen to or keep up with modern rap as a whole because they sat back and watch the degeneracy in hip hop for years now and I'm starting to agree with the old heads now that I'm getting in my early 30s myself almost there.

Man I remember when this dropped. It was so hard. I recorded the video from rap city. DMX was on his historic rise. Onyx 'Shut'em Down '98' album dropped. I first heard in on a Def Jam demo cd. Back then Def Jam was was releasing limited edition demo cd's with their artist albums. It was like a sneak peak type of thing for future joints releasing soon. I was blown away. That was a dope time for hip-hop. Who knew that dope shit was nearing it's end. but anyway this was an all-time banger. That Onyx Album was a banger from beginning to end. That album doesn't get talked about enough.
