“Combo Anything into Anything” 💯 I don’t know how they were able to do it but Hats off. You can do whatever you want as long as you know the different inputs and I love it
@HavnMotion Absolver was super fun. But, it was too hard to break someone's guard. The guard breaking attacks were painfully slow, even though they could basically break guards in one hit. I wish I had guard breaking moves like the enemies do in this game. They require a few attacks to break your guard but their speed is comparable to normal attacks. In Absolver there was basically a 0% chance that a guard break wouldn't be dodged and punished. If you didn't use guard-breaking attacks it took forever to get through their stamina. I gravitated towards attacks that parried while attacking. But, it would have felt a lot better if I could mix in moderate-speed guard break attacks like we see the enemies have in Sifu.
I can’t seem to get the dance fu down. I’m doing directional throw with chasing strikes but when I enter the input for another directional throw it doesn’t cancel the chasing strikes animation. Is there a trick to it?
@Djisso did you know duck under punch can stun lock Fajar on master to the point that you can just spam it to the point where he actually starts to run from it make his second stage a joke big 🧀

Crotch punch and Snap kick are both great move when you want to begin your attack. You dodge, stun, and damage them at the same time. The satisfaction was undeniable when I found out I just need to ⬆⬆ attack during their animation instead of avoid then punish.
You can still do it, but I think the timing was tweaked for the chasing strikes because Even I noticed it was working less Often than Before. And also Enemies might recover even though their health is fully depleted 😓
Nice vid I'll be trying these out when I next jump on. Have you ever thought about doing a deep dive into each move on the skill tree? Each move I'm finding new ways to use them, like the snap kick I thought wasn't that good until I saw it can go over sweeps. I think I use every move now apart from the hook intercept, but if I saw a video on how it can be used I might implement it into my repertoire. Or confirm that it's garbage which saves me the hassle of playing around with it. I don't know, I think it would be a pretty cool video guide.
I was actually thinking about doing that a while ago, making a long video about each skill and its uses, pros and cons So maybe it is back on the table 🤔 And I really tried to make Hook Intercept work a while back. There are some caveat to using the skill and in my experience it is High Risk, Low reward. It is quite fast and Interrupt enemies before they can land a punch. But again, crotch punch can do that better. H.I can also Allow you to tank a hit while stopping a follow up attack from the enemy, as long as it is not an unblockable. But again, it works well on minions but I can hardly justify the damage you might take trying to perform it. I wish it was a bit like Yang’s Hook intercept. It is an Instant stun and he can combo into crooked foot. So many I could justify the risk if Interrupting enemies mid attack led to an instant stun. But As of right now, it is not easy to make that skill work
Hook intercept works well as a combo extender when used with duck cancels it gives a lot of hit stun thats been the inly real use for it that I've found

The only difference I can tell is the duck strike puts enemies into a stun status. Also I only use 3 focus attacks, eye poke just to throw someone off a railing, sweep and 5x reset. Putting shrine points into focus bars seems like a waste especially since it's completely useless against Yang anyway.
Unfortunately on mouse and keyboard it is very hard to perform palm strikes and sweeps. You can't rebind it which is bullshit and doing S+W+LMB is just too much. So crotch punch and directional throw is the only tool you have ))
Im a pc player and im very familiar with palm strike and sweep,it's like my key attacks.Maybe you did not practice enough(I used to stuck at the tutorial and feel very angry at the palm strike and sweep)
I installed it again after finishing this at launch and I gotta say, I'm so disappointed. I remember the second Boss and the 2 enemies right before it, being sooooo hard and fun to fight. I pretty much breezed through everyone first try. This isn't fun at all
So, you would prefer to exhaust yourself and potentially rage quit rather than opting for an easier approach that ensures you won't remain stuck on the same level all day?
I don't seem to be able to get the timing right to do the chasing strikes or the chasing trip kick.... so do u hit X or Y as soon as they start falling back?????
Yes, That’s what I do 🤔 You can experiment with the timing until you find the one which works every time. If pressing X or Y immediately after you perform a push or throw does not trigger the Chasing, try delaying it until you get it
@@Djisso does the low low heavy (X+X+Y) combo that finishes with the push kick count as a push??? EDIT: Doesn't seem so BUT I got the hang of the chasing moves now.... i was hittin it a lil too fast, waiting a split second was perfect.... now to beat Kuroki in under 30 lol
You need to complete the game while sparing the bosses. If you successfully do that, you will unlock the “Wude” ending. And you don’t have to spare the bosses in a single run. But you have to have spared the previous bosses at least once to have access to a secret phase while sparing the Last boss Yang

Try flowing claw but use charged back fist and crouch punch and hook intercept with the kick and a bunch of other moves and you got backwords facing moves now 😂

they still did it better on absolver. there’s a lot of things Sloclap should’ve brought into this game from Absolver

yesss, i’ve been sliding from square to triangle for flowing claw since sifu launched. it’s my favorite input to do because of that slide.
For PC players, keep an eye on a mod called Wude awakening. You'll definitely need these mechanics there

The timing quite forgiving, if you get used to using Chasing Strikes, then you just need to immediately input The throw the moment your Punch lands ✨
I also can't get this to work. I've done it by coincidence but I can't get the timing on how to cancel the chasing fists

Oh no it does not, thats just a regular kick
Only the push from palm Strike (Up-Down-X) or the directional throw can be followed up with chasing
@@DjissoApologies, but the Palm Strike combo is actually performed by pressing down, up, square on PS4, and down, up, X on Xbox.
Also do you Dodge with r2 or with the l1 button?
To dodge backward, sideways, or toward an enemy, press R2, and to avoid or parry attacks, press L1 with precise timing.
