@@artpinsof5836thanks for listening! i've done Steve Reich's piece a while ago, you can check it out if you want ua-cam.com/video/o7L663q7iBs/v-deo.html
this is magnificient! the way how you use the sequencer in the machine is the real brilliant work here, and thanks for bringing Phillip Glass alive through it. Really well done!
Wow. I’d not drawn that parallel between him and electronic before. And I can’t begin to think how you sequenced this.. edit: I see the gist of it now, very neat!
Just an fyi that you can assign the LFO to an envelope and adjust the attack to reduce the pervasive pop between certain runs of notes. If that was intended or the LFO is being used for another function, please disregard.
Amazing! I find myself struggling with writing longer melodies. How do you manage to have a different trigger only when the pattern is played the first time? This is very nice!
@steinmeister_ Sorry probably I am not wording it properly...when you play a pattern, the first time the pattern runs, the notes played have different lengths compared to when the same pattern runs the second time
ok, i get what you mean now :) i think it might be some kind of personal perception… i didn’t and couldn’t adjust the length of notes to be different in the same pattern. i guess what happens is that the phrase ends with crescendo, it means that for instance pattern D09 is a bit louder than pattern D08, which is achieved by encreasing velocity of triggers in pattern D09. so when i get back to pattern D08 it might seem that triggers are a bit shorter, but actually velocity is just a little bit lower comparing to D09. that was very long reply… in short both repetitions of patterns are identical :)
i used “the complete piano etudes” score (chester music limited). if i remember correctly i borrowed string and saxophone quartet’s score from the library.
The rhythmic feel is really far off compared to a performance of this piece. Also, near the beginning, some of those C and Bbs sound out of tune,, is there some pitch modulation going on?
There's something so pure about a simple sine
It is literally the purest type of tone with nearly zero timbral eccentricity
Maybe it’s frequency? Maybe?
Maybe because its a pure and a simple wave?
Happy to discover your channel ! I love the M:C too ! Greetings from France !
This is beautiful! Well done
Beautiful. More Philip Glass please!
& maybe some Steve Reich?

So sweet and so playful
This guy was a good influence for Depeche Mode especially on Black celebration and Music for the masses album, Alan Wilder was very into his music
This is 🔥
Very nice to hear. Очень приятно ❤
Excellent sir!
This is excellent! Thanks!
Also it reminds me of aphex twin, the melody and tone of the synth in particular.
This is the highlight of my day 😁
Brilliant work on this S !

thanks for your advice! sadly it doesn’t resolve that issue… all it does it reduces the overall volume of a track, the pop is still there.
Wow!😮 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Encore! Encore!

thanks for checking this out! to be honest i don’t understand your question…

which score did you use for this piece, and the other Glass pieces... if I may ask?
i used “the complete piano etudes” score (chester music limited). if i remember correctly i borrowed string and saxophone quartet’s score from the library.
@@steinmeister_ thank you
interesting use of the MC. well, any use of the MC is interesting to me 😄😆
🔥❤️
Have you heard the anton batagov version on piano?
yes! i’m familiar with his performance, i like his version a lot!
Who is playing the music?
i guess i don’t get your question… the music is played by the synth that i programmed
@@steinmeister_ OK, thanks.
Very Gameboy.

Please, I really need more attack on the transient. The idea is nice but it doesn't sound or play well.
Ohhhhhhhh😮👌🏼
