Reminder that there wasn't any cutscene of the Wily castle Exploding before the Bad Ending begun, No explosions, no Skull shaped Mushroom Cloud's, Nothing. Same goes to the Sondebar Base Remix on the other hand averted this with a new cutscene where you can see the Wily Castle exploding before it blows up
In the reboot Mega Man Revolution Remix it has a bad ending rather than a fake ending that if you think about it is actually Remir launched evil energy into the atmosphere since no one realized he was the bad guy, but all the cutscenes are no longer just sprite swaps of the player character and rabbit hopping Wily is still in the game but elsewhere.
Because the real ending actually requires you to collect all the REVOLUTION letters and beat the actual villain of the game (Dr Remir). The actual ending also has 2 different scenarios depending if you play Mega Man or Bass (the fake ending has the same ending except with only the characters swapped (Yes, Bass tries to take Dr Wily to jail for some reason))
