I have this same pump and after a few uses the battery light started to glow red just after a minute of use. After watching your video it was clear to me it is not easy to replace the battery. I'm not even trying to open this thing anymore.
Does it need to be lubricated or any kind of maintenance? I just want mine to last long and prevent any damage caused with lack of care or maintenace needed, thank for any advices :)
Hi, your information is very good. A thousand thanks. It made me happy to watch them. I changed the batteries. But now the batteries are empty. I can't load it. I tried with different cables. I tried different grips. I tried with a different charging cable. What should I do? Can you help me?
Thx for this teardown. I'm planning to use this pump to make espresso coffee, do you see any possibility that there's anything other than air coming out of thr pump?
I don't recommend using this pump for this application. While it is dry type and there is no liquid lubricant, the piston is lubricated with dry lubricant, and will wear down and release particles. The air hoses etc probably will introduce a rubber smell into your coffee. Furthermore, you would need a rather large amount of pressure. Typically in an espresso machine the pressure is hydraulic (using water) and about 70-130psi or so I believe. You would have to use a suitable container. High pressure air is significantly more dangerous than high pressure water because air expands as it is released, so if there is any glass involved it could burst. If you decide to go down this route, I would advise the use of pressure-rated components. Please note that this is not professional engineering advice. If you are looking for a portable solution to generate air pressure, depending on what kind of parameters you need, I would recommend trying to look for a diaphragm pump, and passing the air through a good particulate and vapour filter.
Good review, I have the same inflator except that mine had a fall and 4 resistors were unsoldered, they appear at minute 5:21 and they are R26 R19 R20 R27, someone has the values of these resistors, thanks!
Hey, do you need to remove the red sealing ring inside the Schrader connection hose? (The one for cars) Thanks and great video! Asking because mine doesn't inflate the car tyre, the compressor will stop after 1 second and I wonder if I should remove the red sealing ring...
I saw someone that oiled the piston and the oil went to the sensor and caused a problem, he opened it cleaned the sensor area and it worked fine again.
You should verify that the lubricant you want to use is compatible with rubber. It seems that silicone typically has good compatibility so it should work correctly.
@@liminalsunset hello Larry, One question i just got my new S1 today from Amazon, and the first thing i chequed was the USB PORT, and i find i have the old mini charging port. 1) wait some time to allow the device to cool down after you are using it, and/or let it sit for a few hours. 2) use a known working or different charger and cable and leave it plugged in for a few hours Do not attempt the following unless you are skilled and knowledgeable in electronics. Any information below is at your own risk. 3) open the device and measure voltage of battery cells individually. If voltage between 2.0 and 4.2 V, use a current limited battery charger to carefully charge battery cells directly and in a balanced way at 500 mA until at least 3.6V per cell 4) if the battery voltage is below 2.0V per cell, replace the battery 5) if the battery still does not function, try to disconnect and reconnect the BMS to the battery cells.

I replaced mine 3400mah each high drain.
Warranty replacement 😊

At which voltage does the motor run?
nominally 7.2 volts but can go up to 8.4 V when fully charged, min 6V when empty

Live wires ?
Is the piston easy to replace? When it breaks.
There is a video of that, easy asfk, but i like to know where to get it, i guess aliexpress
What is error code EA3 mean and how to fix it?
is it okay to use silicon oil to the pump section to prevent o-ring to become hard?

What is a regular USB port? MicroUSB and USB-C both are "regular" USB ports.
not much useful without showing the spring and rubber after removing the cylinder, you didn't remove the cylinder.
Mine is over 1yo, it has already lost compression, probably chucked an O ring
