That wood is so beautiful, man. Without knowing it was a bottle you were making, my first guess was a desk lamp. But I suppose having a wire running through it wouldn’t have looked so good lol.

I'm loving the new camera angles it really brings the viewer into what you go through to make a video.
The bottle turned out well. All you need know is your own seal.
Listening to you a gross idea came into my head. You need to make another bottle but this time put a toe into it. Like the one in America which has toes in tequila bottles. Would be a talking point on anybody's bar.

As rare and interesting as the shape and texture of burl is, you should consider silicone moulding some of it to have a renewable supply for things like dragon eggs and such.

I posted something like this a year or so ago. Seems like a smart idea. Especially if it's just painted.

Another beautiful piece!! I was rather intrigued by the clock on your wall, im rather curious as to how long pieces take. If i was watching your clock right, it looks like you started right around 10 and finished a bit after 1400, so just about 4 hours?

Oh wow! It's like you captured a nebula cloud in a bottle. That's awesome. I think the bottle shape works for this, but personally, I would've left the wax drips. Awesome job.

I don't drink, so I guess I shouldn't be surprise I'm ignorant of bottle sealing, but this is the first time I've ever heard of a wax seal over a cork. I always thought the cork was the seal.

Did you ever do a giant Dragon egg?? The mica powder painting is hot. Almost looks like a type of geode rock!
I'd love to see this strategy used to make a more traditional style table lamp (not one with an LED puck, but one that takes a traditional light bulb)
The bottle itself is beautiful, but the wax top doesn’t look good on it. A clear resin stopper or the likes of would’ve looked better. Just my thoughts.

I like the bottle. If you do more, though, consider making a stamp to seal the cork with, for that extra touch.

Hey Ben, ive seen ppl that do big projects that have small shields at the end of the tools to deflect the debris more to the floor. Is there such pieces for small tools like you use and would you use them ?

I don't if have done this or not before but you could make the bottles into lamp stands without much more effort. It would give another item to sell in your store.
