You really never know for sure what’s going to work for you until you try it out. Just like moving into a new home, you move things around until it fits you. Game changer for sure! It looks very rugged! 👍👍
Like a spaceship! For me it is too gray, monotone and industrial looking, but I guess that’s his taste. I couldn’t live with all that metal around. But to be able to move modulars around and customize it is priceless.

Definitely perfect for minimalist type person. He has everything he needs without the frills. Very utilitarian. This is not a duragatory comment, I am sure this makes sense to many people.
Dude seems amped up on a few Red Bulls LOL Great concept just kind of "cold feeling" to me. JMO though. Could be perfect for someone else. The amount of dirt & pet hair (since most all van/bus lifers have pets) could be a big issue for those tracks. Perhaps it should come with a Dyson or Dirt Devil. LOL

Very clever concept. A little too industrial looking for me though, I don't think I would enjoy coming home to it, and all I can see is channels in the floor being a dirt trap.
I wonder how long it will take for them to clog up with gunk.

My thoughts also about the dirt in the tracks especially since the biggest gripe vanlifer & buslifers have is about the amount of dirt & pet hair their home on wheels have.

I love the Masculinity of the modular and the ability to add feminine touches ! Love this ! I travel with my German Shepard he needs his own space ( lift bed make his own comfy kennel ) and can bring fur and dirt with him . This would make cleaning up after him simple !
This modular van has a sharp, crisp and clean interior. Best design I've seen this year, and beautifully wrapped on the outside over the windows.
Especially like that you can carry bikes on board by moving the bed out of the way. Thanks 🤘

I love it! I really like the industrial feel to it. Most vans are too cabin-y for me. And I love the modular units and the ability to change things around. Super functional.

Cold like a robot not very homy. You could incorporate some wood planks. Also the water\ cooking prep in front of the diving seats? Hmmm... Splashing, I splash a lot.
just though of something- the bed can ~always~be level, no matter how you're parked. and you could also probably use a strap to level the fridge if needed. so if you wanted to stealth park somewhere on a hill, or you find a great but not-level campsite for the night, you wouldn't need to use leveling blocks. just level out the two important things from inside the van and get some sleep.

The E350 van is the best and strongest van good choice my friend.. because my van is a also a 350 but the 95 but it's a awesome strong van .. even for a 95

Looks very efficient! But the cold metallic look isn't really my style. Feels more like a lab than a camper.
If it was up to me? I would make all the silver parts matte black and replace all white/black plastic with wooden panels. Give it that "industrial apartament" kind of vibe you know? Maybe even add a plant or something so its more alive.
Looks like a mechanical engineering lab. Very clean and functional.

Still not sold on the "passenger van" requirement for Vandoit. The angled ceilings on the side seem such a waste and using the heating vents etc. Take up space. I'd rather use the cargo van chassis and put in all the framing systems more square like.
I believe the passenger and have much more bracing on the inside for a more rugged van chassis

What did you do about the side curtain air bags? The passenger Transits are full curtain air bags. I'm wrestling with that issue myself.

I have been toying with the idea of using the van as an office for my tutoring business, but also having it available for road trips. My husband is 81 and I’m 15 years younger. Need to look at price but definitely a possibility.

First modular build I’ve seen
Patrick, this is made from the 80/20? I haven't looked into it enough to recognize it vs. maybe another type of aluminum framing.
Very nice... and I can see adding some wood to it to get 'that look' and yet still have the versatility and strength of the modular 80/20 build.
On your van, Patrick, I think it's 4wd... is that something you bought it with or did you add it after the purchase? (I kick around having a 4wd conversion done to my 07 E350.) What kind of a lift is on it and what size tires are you running? I'm thinking about Weldtec's Grocery Getter lift kit which'll add five inches and I'd love to throw some 35/12.50's under it.

I’m pretty sure they made them. I am certain they did at one time but like anything, I’m sure they had returns and it was t worth offering.
Interesting, but it’s just not for me. Reminds me a lot of computer gamers who get custom PC tower builds with everything lit up. Also, I worked in “party” transportation where we used lots of different lights in the vans, and I’m just over that. I felt like I was at my old job watching this 😂

The concept is pretty cool, but it's the coldest, ugliest,uncomfortable, mechanical ,spaceship looking van ever, and doesn't see to have any good storage, I don't think I personally could ever be comfortable living in something like that. I guess nice for somebody that likes that kind of style. ??
