Thank you; from Australia. You’re videos are fascinating and you are very calm. Well Done.
Thanks for the feedback!
Excellent video as always!!!
The Silicon sealant looks perfect once I finished this. The 'final' close up of it was before I tidied it up fully (I do mention this). I should have shot a final close up.
So helpful thank you so much just could be even more detailed…that was so hard work plus creativity damn! Thanks again!
Great job bro
Well-done
I personally love Chinese products. The prices and quality are amazing.
It looks so real😍
Great video, but honestly all this fabrication, cable tie and sealer stuff really puts me off. Ive just bought the facelift cls63s i may save the pounds and buy the renntech version for a bit more to avoid the bodge job I’ve uploaded a couple vids. But all in honesty you did a great job mate definitely brave i wouldn’t be as ballsy as you 😜👍🏽👍🏽 you’ve got a 👍🏽 from me
Thanks for the comments, bare in mind that the Renntech one is $3500 + VAT, + Shipping!
@@killerhertzmercedes Yeah it is, however im going for the Agency power diffuser. Its 1250$ cheaper, IMO it looks more aggressive. I just wouldn't want bad quality. When am jetwashing the car i'd be too cautious of the fog cutout or the glue ripping off etc.
Big up Sikaflex
I have been looking at the exact same thing today aha
Good job!
that cutting job is killer bro xDD i wouldve just took off the light but oh well xD
We have to have the foglights by law here in the UK...
The entire diffuser is no longer on the car and I have sold it.
@@killerhertzmercedes oh nooooo , sorry i wasnt being sarcastic, i know how hard it is to cut carbon fiber it breaks in pieces , what do you have now ?
I don’t undrestand how did you move the metal rod? With force? You did not bent anything?
I'm in the process of installing my rear diffuser like yours, that extended stud that you needed the funny spanner tool for it so that you don't lose the nut when removing it from the threads and allows you to slide the nut off of that extended stud through the hole without the nut falling down into the car, if that makes sense?
Can you elaborate? I’m lost haha
Now I know why I see guys on the side of the road picking up the diffuser when it falls off.
It was fitted for 3 years and never fell off...
Thanks for a gretat vid
More w218 CLS63 related stuff please, oil change, brake pad change, mods, etc
More on the way soon, have you seen my other CLS videos including the retro-fitting the reversing camera?
@@killerhertzmercedes Not really. Not enough content for w218 on UA-cam. Thank you for your CLS videos.👌
I have a CLS550 2012 and bought one of these off ebay from a distributor in china and it did not fit lucky it was the manafuacturs fault and ebay game me back the cash but I am hesitant to chance another because it seems most of the rear diffusers are for a CLS amg model. do you know if any of these will fit a regular CLS550 w218 thanks. Love your channel by the way been looking for someone doing Mods on a CLS I have many mods and looking forward to seeing your videos
Thanks for the support! - Im afraid I have only investigated the AMG version of it. Mine was a nightmare to fit to be honest. - if I fit another however it would be alot easier as I know how to get it to fit.
New Project CLS63 AMG episode dropping this Friday :)
I see some w212 09-12 models with similar rear diffuser but when i search for me to get one I couldn’t find it.
Do you think it’s possible that this diffuser fits the w212 model?
Just curious.
Nice vid btw.
Hey, on that central bracket that you had to use the Dremel tool, How did you screw the two screws back into the bracket on the car? Did you drill access holes in the carbon fiber under area??
I have a very big question about your latest video! Is Mario in it? If so i missed the fucker!
Yes, hes hidden in all my videos :)
Great instruction video and voice over as usual KH. Thanks! Do you know if there is any difference between the CLS350 Shooting brake and the CLS63 when fitting this diffuser? Cheers.
If I remember correctly, they are slightly different and not the same part...
Thanks for the info KH.
Thanks for the video. I’m doing this in 2 days when my diffuser arrives. Just a quick question.. what tools did you require for removing/putting on the rear bumper and diffuser?
Socket set, trim removal tool and also that weird tube tool as per video...
@@killerhertzmercedes the local hardware store you got the tool from are they nationwide in the UK? Need to go out a drive tomorrow to find somewhere that stocks this melco tm6 spanner/wrench
Did you use a hammer to "cut" out the hole for the fog light?
Dremel as per video. it has now been covered by a 3d printed trim piece and looks factory
What company did you order that diffuser?
Where can I buy this ...theres no link
I got it off eBay 3 years ago...
not worth the trouble!
what do you mean not real carbon fiber? mean its carbon trim?
it's not real carbon fibre, it's fibre glass.
real carbon fibre would be 3x the price.
@@killerhertzmercedes i think you are very wrong there real carbon diffusor you can buy for 250 dollars. its just the chineese had a 0.35 cent salery and they can keep the prices down. i work with selling carbon. and ofc it depends on what company you buy from. if you want real carbon 100% i can ship to you 100% garantee for about same price
@@KleneR100 I am not wrong, it is Fibreglass, I have cut into it.
I'm sure real CF ones exist of course. My one however is not.
@@killerhertzmercedes ah okey i see. well its good fake carbon then haha. are you intrested in a good diffusor in real carbon with 100% for about same price?
@@KleneR100 no thank you.
Cls is the ugliest Mercedes they ever made
You probably can't even afford one.
