The lead singer of the Zombies went on to sing some of the greatest hits by The Alan Parsons Project. What a great and unique voice.
This is from one of the best albums of the 60s. Honestly this is one of my lesser favorite songs from the record, but the whole thing is absolutely incredible and would be worthwhile for an album reaction.
Yes after hundreds of lifetime listens, this song is still as sparkling and mysterious as ever. Glad you liked it!
I know everybody is requesting "She's Not There," but that Odessey and Oracle album is hopefully something you guys would consider for a full album review on Patreon. Acid Pop masterpiece up there with Sgt Pepper and the Moody Blues' Days of Future Passed. Just a one-of-a-kind album that Time of the Season doesn't fully represent at all.
THIS
One of the greatest albums ever.
@@jksgameshelf3378 I still got the scratchy original album I bought with school-lunch money! lol.
I couldn't agree more. I'm 60 years old and loved the Zombies hits all of my life but only discovered the Odessey and Oracle album very recently. 50 years later I'm so sad that the Zombies were together for such a short time.
Better than Sgt. Pepper
Try some "Crystal Blue Persuasion" by Tommy James and the Shondells..."I Ain't Superstitious" by Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart..."Spooky" by Atlanta Rhythm Section...For some very unusual vocals, try "Poetry Man" by Phoebe Snow...
I remember hearing this song when I was a little kid and I still here it played almost weekly still today. A timeless 60's classic!
"She's Not There"...the absolute Zombies banger!!
