I have been wearing my Keen steel toe boots for about 4 years now from North 40. Had the lace eyes replaced a year ago and used e6000 glue to fix a broken seam. These have been the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned so far, but they won’t last forever. The chance to own a pair of Nicks custom boots would be a game changer I’m sure. This is amazing, Thanks for the opportunity!! I have been looking into Nicks boots for a while and really want to try a pair of these. I am not a framer, but a lineman. I wear wedge sole moc toe boots very often with the exception of when I need to climb a pole. I love that this pair of boots has a slip resistant sole which would make it great for the work I do for everything except climbing! Great looking boot you guys came up with!! 👍👍🤞🤞

In my neck of our global village a "Wood Butcher" was usually reserved for those that constructed concrete shuttering for foundations. Overseas viewer, so good luck to whoever gets those good looking boots :)
It’s hard to beat the timeless look and solid construction of a moc toe boot. Living in the rural PNW requires a set of hard working boots, always has been that way. I think that’s why we’re so blessed with brands like Nicks who have established themselves here to fuel that very need. A machine couldn’t possibly craft a boot that’d do the trick because a machine doesn’t understand the work that shoe is about to be put through like a PNW artisan boot maker does. The quality is in the water we drink, the dirt we walk on, and in the trees that surround us. Working in rural land conservation takes a serious pair of boots in the Columbia Gorge area, and these are those boots. I see no better fitting boots for that job than a pair crafted in our very PNW country; in order to conserve this PNW culture that we’ve grown to love, we must use that culture. I love the pride taken and the quality of the boots! Being a carpenter and the sole provider of my family my boots are very detrimental to my everyday and I'd love nothing more than to try em out and spend the word of nicks handmade boots!

These boots are awesome. Such a perfect collaboration. Finally a boot that covers all the bases. You don't need a boot for dry days, wet days, dirt work, walking joists, getting on the roof, and another to make a sales call. I would love these boots. Guaranteed to become my new favorite shoe.

I love this collaboration! I’ve been excitingly yet patiently waiting for this release of this boot to come out. I wear wedge sole boot currently and they are great for walking walls but like you said they just need a little more grip especially in winter 😂 congrats to the winner of these boots!
I've followed you on instagram for a while, but I never realized you were that close! I'm over here in North Idaho (2hrs north east of Spokane) and I've been working with a small time builder for about 4 years now. Love your content and have to say I've learned quite a bit from your reels on Instagram. Ok, here's my shot at the give away, in my 4 years of construction I've never owned a new pair of boots. I started in my standard issue combat boots, then I moved to a pair of hiking boots from a garage sale and now I'm wearing my boss's old Carhartt boots. Well NOW I'm wearing muck boots because it's mud and snow season but even those are hand-me-downs from the boss man. Anyway, that's enough about me. Love your content.
I really dig these boots! For the last ten years, I've also been framing in Washington and have been wearing the classic 875 mock toe from Redwing because a new boot should feel like a new baseball glove! They are expensive and my budget is tight but I was told by a wise man to invest in a good bed and a good pair of boots because if your not in one your in the other! As stubborn as I am with boots I've noticed that red wing has maybe lost their quality over time yet has the same price. This is the first time I've entered one of your contests but out of all of them I have seen I really would like to win this one. I'm recovering financially after Christmas and buying new tools for a project so I can't go out and buy a pair as of now but if my eyes and ears are not deceiving me, I'm thinking that this might be the next boot I buy year after year! have been a building contractor for the last 35 years and these Nicks are the best boots I have ever seen. Have work on my feet all my life and would love to try a pair of these boots. Made in the USA is great, getting hard to find that these days.

I've been a framer for just over a year now, and my year and half old caterpillar steel toes have just about given out, these boots would be perfect!

As a former Wood Butcher and current concrete finisher, I am always looking for high-quality boots. As a concrete finisher, I wear out boots at an alarming rate. A boot like the Wood Butcher is just what I need, improved traction on a wedge sole.
Hey, I know this is a total shot in the dark, I know your post says US only, I love in Kamloops British Columbia, im in my first year of carpentry working as a framer for a company named JUL Construction, I have had the same pair of boots for 6 years, and let me tell you they are not meant for weathered jobs, the bottom of my boot is coming off, so they are in fact 100%, completely not waterproof. Im working out of town right now, and living with our crew, there's 7 guys and I told them I would wear these boots until they fall off, but considering we all watch your videos and they introduced me to you as soon as I started with them a few months ago and I've seen all your videos learning and applying skills I've seen from you on the job site, so, with all the guys being fans of you and what you teach, I think they as well would make the exception that these boots don't literally have to fall off my feet. I've done all the steps for the giveaway, I completely understand if it's out of your control and I understand the guide lines, thank you for your consideration

@@haydenlanger3281 trench foot is no good. If you have two pairs of boots then you can let one pair dry while you wear the other pair. Search for a "peets boots dryer," they are worth the money. If you don't have a dryer you can ball up some newspaper and stuff it in your boots when you get home, the newspaper will soak up a lot of the moisture. Also if you slather your boots in something like "Hubert's boot grease" you can make them more water resistant. My last tip is to buy a pair of insulated CSA rubber boots for rainy days in winter time.

@liamvincent8066 I have 2 spare pairs of insoles and 2 pairs of socks, I've been here for almost 3 months and I've never had a day with dry boots on site
Those are clean boots! My boots are almost 3 years old (redwings) and sadly are pretty worn, those would be an awesome late Christmas gift after spending on my kids and family🙏🏻

I have been dying for a pair of Nick's for a couple of years....but I'm entering the drawing for my neighbor. He's a steel stud framer and his boots have taken a beating to the point of having holes in the sides and soles worn down to the welt. The past year was a tough go for him financially and I'd love to be able to gift him a new pair of boots.

Love the patina hard worn boot gives. I’ve had everything from Red Wings to whites. I wear a pair of boots every single day, regardless of the occasion.

Love this Collab! Amazing boot, I would love to rock these in the construction world and see how they work as we know they will hold up and work regarding the hybrid sole. I typically wear a wedge sole or a split sole depending on work being completed so these would be the middle ground and quite possibly a game changer!

I’m a contractor in Tennessee, I have not worn lace ups for years. I wear slip on boots (annoying once in a while), but they are light. I will have to look into these, there are a couple aspects to them that peak my interest.

As a framer in the northeast dealing with a lot of the same weather conditions you guys deal with in the PNW I can’t wait for these boots! I love how much thought and time went into making these, I feel like most boot manufacturing these days isn’t putting any thought into specific trades and what they actually need, if I got the chance to win these I’d put them hard to work! I don't know if PNW made boots can handle structural concrete construction in the Midwest but they look great and appreciate the commitment to making a quality product.

I am young apprentice carpenter/welder. I am still learning how to be a better carpenter. I want the pair of wood butchers so I can focus on learning and working instead of worrying about my feet hurting or because of my cheap worn out boots. I have been saving for a pair of Nick's but it's been a very slow winter. I want to put them to use in the field. They are wood butchers so they should be put to use by a young wood butcher.

I got rid of Instagram (my resolution for less screen time) but I am so excited for this! I have done general carpentry throughout college and I continue to do it while teaching high school part time, and I personally rip through mass produced boots. It seems like some don’t even last a year. Like I always hear people say, invest in quality tools and they will take care of you in return, and I hope these boots will exemplify that!
