Usually if the trailer is a little rough to get under....I release a little air from the air bags from the cab of the tractor. But remember to let the air bags fill back to its normal before completing the backing to lock into the Kindpin, so you don't go under the kingpin. I had that happen one time and it's not fun it get the trailer up over 5th wheel. You are absolutely a thorough, serious and caring truck driver. Keep up the excellent work and being informative & entertaining in you're videos.
Wow I thought all trucks had the dump valve. It comes in handy when the trailer is too low. Why would kllm do that? And no Apu so now you have to idle and waste that expensive ass diesel. That's what happens when corporate people buy trucks. They don't know what's really needed.
Drop your drive airbags , get the 5th wheel under the front of the trailer then raise the bags then continue to back under it… doin that way you won’t get that ruff connection
Very strong , hardworking and independent young woman inspired a lots of others. God bless you and be careful and stay away from those creepy man out there.

Always check your air pressures when you're tires are cold, after driving tires heat up which increases the air pressures so you won't get a correct reading it will always read higher from warm tires... Come on let's roll, just pulled out of Bridgeport Tx headed to Cleveland Ohio

Love seeing this type of video. I do a lot of drop and hook with the company i work with. Of course you know that has its downfalls. Like i picked up a preloaded trailer and the previous driver that dropped it, forgot to remove the pigtail connector before driving off and ruined the box. Had to wait until midnight for it to be repaired by roadside. Even worse, the person that was sent out to fix it was high on heroin. He was on call but wasnt wasn’t expecting to get a call. I’m glad his gf showed up to help drive because he was out of it.
Prime had me do that once. Bt 1230 miles from Springfield, Mo to Clearfield, UT for a new trailer sitting at the manufacturer. I told them i would do it but do we not have any drivers closer to it that can get it bc we have a terminal in west valley city, UT less than 50 miles away. He said someone has to get it. But i was getting 13mpg across WY. I filled up with fuel at the Springfield terminal and still had 1/4 tank when i got to Clearfield.
18:35 That OTR brain fog 😅 Girrlll that happens to me SO much when I’m OTR 💀 It’s crazy how much less time and energy you have to record, edit, and post when you’re with a good company that keeps you moving lol I just switched a few weeks ago and I’m struggling to post content. 800 miles deadhead caught my attention. I see your signals you are using and I promise I'd rather be an owner operator with these sh-issues. So I finally bought my own truck. It took 4 hard years and little to no help. I'd never been in a situation of burning 800 miles deadhead until this moment. P.S. stay safe
Lower your air bags when backing under any trailer. It helps keep the grease on the 5th wheel. But of course if the trailer is jacked up really high there is no need to lower the bags.
@RoadRunna Nia oh ok I wasn't sure if you could. Also I don't have Instagram, but I do have an email if you would like that. If have questions or anything.
Hello little butterfly the reefers are heavier than the dry vans the unit is 2500 pounds heavier that's why it may feel different but you will get use to it's no problem you got this.
if your one of the steer tires blows out while driving, hit the gas pedal instead of the break pedal; doing this help to keep your steering straight. I learned this in a simulator; knock on wood, i never have to experience this in real driving condition and i pray and hope i will never have to.
Love your videos stay safe on the road your friend from New York. If you can ask the company to put AAP U unit on then you be great. You don't have to worry about the batteries dying on you.🎉
