Awesome to be ice fishing with your Dad! My Dad taught me to ice fish when i was young! Those are some of my best memories! Lost my Dad 6 years ago, I'd give anything right now just to have one more day to ice fish with my Dad!!! Enjoy.
Thanks! It can be a hassle but i love it so it’s worth it. Haven’t had time to watch your video yet but I’ll watch it tonight. Keep up the good work boys 🎣👊🏼
I honestly think the perch fishing is going to be outstanding the next 5-6 years on Winnebago. Really hoping we can fish battle this year 🤞🏻🤞🏻good luck to you also!
Thank you! Personally on Bago i like anything with gold or chrome. With all the bait in the system this year and the clear water i would suggest silver/ chrome
Yeah some guys have been the last couple days but there are definitely some areas out there with less Than ideal ice. Should be a bunch of trucks out there this weekend
Love your vids been watching you for a long time. I don’t remember how often you fish the east side but i got a highschool tournament out there these weekend and if you have any tips to help us we would appreciate it thank you
I do like fishing the east side but i typically fish the west because it’s a little more convenient coming from GB. Haven’t fished the east side this year yet but if i did I’d probably go out of brothertown. Typically there’s a good school of fish 2-4mi out. Other than that you kinda just have to go out and see where the groups are and go from there. Wish i had some better info for ya but honestly it’s a lot of work most days to find fish. Small gold/ silver spoons like cast masters or Swedish pimples are always a good choice tipped with 3-4 red spikes. Hope this helps a little bit and good luck this weekend!!
@@jolkraeremeark6949 no problem, i know a lot of people are going out of brothertown but it’s been hit or miss. Definitely people catching fish on the east side though
One other general question. Last year on B.O.B water in my minnow bucket froze over almost immediately. What do you store live bait in? From MO so don’t get many practice reps lol your videos have helped a lot and always enjoy the content. Thanks in advance
I just have water in my minnow bucket but my bucket has a bubbler in it so if it starts to freeze up i just turn the bubbles on. Other than that i just keep an eye on it and move it into the warm shack if it starts freezing
@@CNCoutdoors Got it, thanks. I was hoofin it last year and had no way to warm stuff up. Next thing I knew I was using my scooper as a chisel to try to get to my minnows haha
What was the point of your bobber on the tip up? That just your way of setting the depth? Do you throw that on while you’re out there or are those set in advance? Sorry for a million questions I’m still new to this lol
All good 😂 ask away! Yes the bobber is just so it’s set at the right depth every time. I used my flasher to set the depth right away when i set up the tip up

Good day! I enjoy watching your videos!! Thanks for filming, I know it can be a hassle sometimes!

Thanks! Haha yes he does have a pretty sweet hat

Thanks! Yeah that hat is freaking sweet, and warm!
3:07 that was an awesome catch dude solid fishing 👍
Thanks! 😂 I’ll stick my hand down the hole any day of the week for a tasty perch like that!
Awesome job.
Thanks!
Seems like the average size for perch just keeps getting better and better each year. Can’t wait to get back out! Good luck during the battle.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice work on the perch
Like your dads hat where’d he get it
Thanks! I believe he got that from a guy up in Michigan who trapped and made them. That was a long time ago probably 30 years or so
Love the videos and congrats on the baby coming. What colors/ pattern do you recommend from Fishtails for Bago?
Thank you! Personally on Bago i like anything with gold or chrome. With all the bait in the system this year and the clear water i would suggest silver/ chrome
Quality fish!
I’ll take quality over quantity any day 😁 Winnebago is chucked full of beautiful jumbos this year!
You honestly are one of the best fishermen
Nah i know some that are way better than me.. i just have a camera on my head 😂 teamwork makes the dream work on Winnebago 😉
Wow !
I can’t believe how good you are at fishing you’re one of the best fishers I ever knew
Haha thank you! 🎣
Hey Cole, have you heard if they are driving trucks on Poygan yet?

@@delbertwoelfel8958 nice! Lmk when you do your first video, I’ll watch it 👍🏻
Cole, I'm not very good at catching fish lol
@@delbertwoelfel8958 only one way to get good at it! Just have to get out there and learn
After this cold front going to you think the ice will be safe for trucks
Oh yeah, 100% there’s already trucks driving out on the east side
I need a jumbo fry soon!!!
So good!!
What kind of luar are u using
Small gold spoons and jigging rapalas
Nice catch. You guys goin to try the Mississippi this year?
Thanks! Probably not going to make it to the Mississippi this year with the wife being pregnant. Maybe next year 🤞🏻
Nice vid! What did you have for ice thickness? Ever do any good on the east side? Thank you.
Thanks! Didn’t measure but i would say 9-10” consistently. I’ve had some very good days on the east side 👍🏻
@@CNCoutdoors appreciate it, I'm over in Sheboygan, by the other lake.

How far off the bottom you setting your tip up?
2-5’ off bottom
Big chewski I’m the same way.
that was a nice save on the tip up what baits you using
Mostly small gold spoons and jigging rapalas. We were using emerald shiners on the tip ups
Putting on a clinic.....nice!

Ok figured I’d ask. Looking forward to more videos.
Where you on the west side of east side? Pm me
West side
Where ya fishing out of was out with my dad was a struggle
We were on the west side of Winnebago
Have you ever eaten fried Perch eggs?
I have not. I’ve heard of guys deep frying and even spreading them on toast. I haven’t been brave enough to try them yet 😂
@@CNCoutdoors You have to try them. Do a egg wash roll in flour deep fry yummy
@@Daves-hereagain maybe I’ll try that out in the next video.. maybe 😂
What kind of Rods you use and length thanks
My favorites are 30” ML 26” L for panfish and 28” ML and 30-32” M for walleye
