First written and performed by Mohammed Druf in 1999, this Bidawyet song is about Eritreans’ love for their country no matter where they live. The song, whose lyrics are homage to the healing and revitalizing effect of reveling in the elements of one’s homeland, is a call to Eritrean ex- iles to return home. It is accompanied by a traditional Bidawyet dance known as Quas, inspired by the movement of birds, which symbolize peace.

ሽፍታ ዓዲ ሃሎ ብሃጸይ ሃይለ ስላሴ ፣ዓረብ ቋንቋ ተማሂሩ ፣ፓስፖርት ቪዛን ገንዘብን ሒዙ ዩ ንሱዳን ከይዱ ብኡ ገሩ ኸአ ንመዳ ዝወረደ ።ምስኡ ብዙሓት ዕሱባት ብኤርትራ አቢሎም ንመዳ ከምዝአተዉ ይንገር(በዓል መን ምዃኖም ጊዜ ክነግረና ኢዩ)። ንናይ ኢሳያስ ስልጣን አብ ሓጺር ጊዜ ንምርግጋጽ ብዙሕ ሽርሕታትን ቅንጸላታት ውን አካይዶም። ናታቶም ፕሮጀክት ኸአ ንተሐኤ ንምዝራግ(sabotage)ኢዩ ኔሩ ። ስለምንታይ ደኣ እዚ ኹሉ ጊዜ ተጋዲሉ ንዝብሉ ፣አሕልቁ -ሃጸይ ሃይለ ስላሴ፣-ልዑል አስራተ ካሳ (ቀንዲ ናይቲ ፕሮጀክት መራሒ)-ደጃች ሰለሙን አብርሃ ሓጎስ ምራጭ ወልደ ኪዳን (ሓወብኡ -አመሓዳሪ ናይ ወሎ )ብደርጊ ስለ ዝተቀትሉ ፣ካልእ አማራጺ ስለ ዘይነበሮ ካብ ኢትዮጵያዊ ናብ ኤርትራዊ ምዃን ወሲኑ።ን50 ዓመታት ከአ ኤርትራዊ ተመሲሉ ረጊጹናን ቀቲሉናን አጽኒቱናን። ኢሳያስ ኤርትራዊ -ናህና ኮይኑ አይፈልጥን። ስለዚ ህዝብና ሓራ ንምውጻእ ፣ነዚ አረመን ተቃሊስና ክንስዕሮ እንተኾንና ፣ልክዕ ከም ደርጊ ፣ከም ቀንዲ ጸላኢ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ክንርእዮ ብእኡ መጠን ክንምክI ቶ ይግባእ። ብፍርቂ ልቢ ዝመጽእ ለውጢ የለን።
