Her eggs were unfertilised and didn't hatch for the second year running. It was terribly sad to watch her. Then 2 orphaned chicks were handed in as their nest had been disturbed. The female took to them straight away and was able to raise them as wild owls in the the wild. No experiment - just perfect timing with the perfect outcome.
The original full video is great as well, the guy documents a lot of the birds in his area and sets up nests with cameras. Usually with minimal intervention, but in this case there were abandoned babies found by someone he knew, and he was observing this mother have difficulties with her eggs, so he thought it could be the best for both parties to put them together. Thankfully it all worked out!

I use a pill shooter for my cats, it looks like a syringe that holds a pill, you stick it in their mouth past their tongue and push the plunger, it works great.

The original full video is great as well, the guy documents a lot of the birds in his area and sets up nests with cameras. Usually with minimal intervention, but in this case there were abandoned babies found by someone he knew, and he was observing this mother have difficulties with her eggs, so he thought it could be the best for both parties to put them together. Thankfully it all worked out!

He'd wake up if we said his name or his face went underwater (which we never let happen), but otherwise he loved his warm soaks till the day I lost him

As a owner of a dog that has to take medicine every day, I know too damn well the amazing things they can do to spit it out, its worse when they wait for you to leave
They know it makes you unhappy, so they pretend to eat it, not knowing what it is. Poor pups love us that much.
I use a pill shooter for my cats, it looks like a syringe that holds a pill, you stick it in their mouth past their tongue and push the plunger, it works great.
what if you just smash up the pill then put it in some small snack
@@legendcolt45 some pills need to be swallowed whole for the medicine to work correctly. And for the pills where you can do that, a lot of times the dogs don't like the taste of the powder. But I think there are some where it is possible!
