The female bts qould be mamamoo. Bts came from nothing and they write and produce their own music about several societal issues and so do mamamoo. Blackpink were handed everything to them in a plate and are essentially puppets in the their agency, they also have zero stage presence. They're talented and pretty but lack energy and passion when they perform. Their music lacks depth. Its catchy to listen to but there is no substance. Their agency also doesnt give them music. They have been around for 4 years and have 4 songs. Literally whereas bts have over 200 songs. Lowkey insulting calling them the female BTS tbh when there are groups like Mamamoo who are less popular bc of their small agency but are known as actual artists in korea and are incredible live.

Yes there are alot of kpop groups in the kpop industry
There are alolso younger groups age from 13-20 but you also have to remember that for bew group to form years an years go into them traing to be somewhat good with the three elemants that represents kpop which is DANCE, SINGING, AND RAPING. Theres also things like having manners and respecting each other you know like your basic things but im sure each entertainme company makes sure they choose the right people.
The most popular groups that i know of are BTS of course cause they literally represent kpop. Exo, blacjpink, monster ex, nct 127, nct dream, nct u, wavy the whole nct group is confusion but to make short its basically a huge group with sub-units. Everglow, the youngest group that are most known are itzy who are under jyp entertainment and txt (tomorrow by together) who are the second boy group under bighit label's. And theres way groups then you think

They dont have a leader and they are multilingual which no other kpop group is with languages like korean,eglish,japanese,chinese,Thai ....They are so fluent and highly talented...something you would call a proper global group needs..Each of them are ambassdors for top brands....their first world tour is the highest grossd kpop tour for a female and also the highest for a first time world wide tour ever...They earned their place with just 13 songs and 13 bops and not even a full album....Quality over quantity....ddu-du-ddu-du is the most viewed kpop group song ever and they have achieved all of this in just 3 years and they are a 3.5 year old group debuting on august 8 2016.
