Lida lake is located in northwest Minnesota in Ottertail County, near Detroit Lakes. Lida is divided into two parts, north and south. In this video we cover the smaller south section of Lida. South Lida is only 775 acres in size, with good water clarity and a max depth of 48 feet. It has some deep holes and good points for walleyes. You will also find some bass crappie and bluegills here.

Just found this channel, impressed with what I am seeing so far and I am excited to watch to older episodes. I am in Fargo and like seeing some “local-ish” content. I am still trying to find spots to bring my kid, which is harder than you would think when surrounded by so many lakes in both MN and ND. Not having a boat, it’s tough to find something busy enough to keep an impatient 10 year old engaged that isn’t just a small public pier crammed full of people. Keep the content coming!

It never used to be clear. One boat came in with zebra mussels and it took over the lake.
Another lake that looks like it gets very little pressure with finns constantly jumping in the boat!!😎
We encountered very few fishermen this whole week. It was probably a different story a few days prior during memorial day weekend. Thanks Wes.
So, how much is the total for dinner? bet it was great!
I believe we kept 10 bluegills, and then 1 northern. That gave us two fish dinners for the week. It was delicious!
