Rande it's amazing to sea all the interconnecting lakes in that area....Everywhere you look and they all have that fishy look + there is very little boat traffic.....Nice sample of the fishing available in that area!!
That part of Wisconsin is very remote. I love fishing that area because it feels like you have it all to yourself. Thanks Wes.

Turtle/Flambeau is notoriously dangerous for stumps and rocks. Nice video, always like to see the landing and campsite for reference. Walleyes have been prevalent in 2021 mostly trolling crankbaits for me.
It definitely adds some excitement when you're dodging stumps and rocks. Good to know about the walleyes. I'm generally not great at catching walleye, so its good to get that info from people like you. Thanks for watching.
I kayak fished the Turtle and I didn't fair too well. We caught a handful of small pike, an eater walleye and few small smallmouth. This was over a 2 day period. The stumps were everywhere and I could imagine it would be a bit treacherous with a boat. The scenery is beautiful and overall the lake is ok.
That sounds about right. I've been here a couple of times and that's how I usually do myself, but every once in a while we hook into a big one.

Sure. Its the Navionics lake maps. Search for it in your app store. I use it all the time, even just to search lakes to fish when I'm at home. If you don't have the app, you can access all the same same info from their website for free here: webapp.navionics.com/#boating@6&key=gkhqGnx%7DwP
What is the app you were using on your phone? Great video! We have a family cabin on same lake
I have the navionics app. Its the same maps that come on the chip in my fish finder. You can buy the app pretty cheap. It works great for ice fishing too.
