People fail to realize how hard tournament golf is. I shoot mid to high 70’s. Rarely into the low 80’s and my first tournament I shot a 94. Took the entire front 9 to get my heart rate under control. Now a full year of tournaments and it still takes me 2-3 holes to settle in and play even a little relaxed. Love that you and Tig post more of these real tournaments regardless of the outcome. Good on ya guys. Enjoyed the video as always
disagree, you and whoever this tig person is are not mentally cut out for tournament golf. Stick to rec golf, mid to high 70's is also bottom if any leaderboard of any tournament I have every played in.
A lot of harsh comments going on here .. sometimes you just don't have your best stuff and you gotta slug through the day. Appreciate you guys still sharing the video and reminding us all that golf isn't always easy! Keep up the great content guys.
Respect for posting the video. What’s crazy is most days you guys play this again, yall will shoot easy 5 or 6 under, probably close to 9 or better. Keep up the work, ignore the comments fellas! Keep the mood light, that’s when you play the best!
Keep playing these events! As you well know, competition golf is a completely different animal, but I absolutely love the mental test that casual rounds don’t give…unless they’re money matches,
Shows the difference between a casual round against the boys and real golf. Golf is hard and tournament golf is even harder and until you’re in that environment you have no clue how tough it is. Appreciate the effort boys good luck in the future.
I feel your pain. Had a practice round for a club 3 day event where our 2 ball-best ball was 3 over. Hope next week is better. When both of us hit balls OB off the tee into backyards it’s not going to be good. I even hit 5 iron, 5 iron on a number of holes to play safe.
People highly underestimate how much game it takes to qualify for and especially be competitive in a USGA event. But good on you guys for getting out there. The only way to get better in those events is to keep doing it.
Been subscribed since the early days big fan boys Madjack Tee it high and let if fly like u used to do as thats how u shoot consistently low numbers. Busta go to thw range and dont leave till your swing path is at your target and just hit it straight. And start attacking the course like u should be. Whens the last time either of you have shot under par comfortably? Not that long ago it was quite regular for u guys. I want BustaJack back those guys could golf the golf ball
I have been a fan for a long time too. Hooking a 7,8,9 iron 60 yards is a great skill to have if really in a jam. I can't see an advantage to doing it on a straight forward shot.
this is why golfers don't play stroke golf in their matches. they're not as good as they like their fans believing. i mean, the dude brings an iron to the tee box to jack it up and drive into the rough. busta-fulla-scuses
@@jessehutchinson7539yea and a rope hook never won anything. His hooded club face is a big problem. He says he’s a plus 6.5 handicap. These guys are probably 3 to 5 handicap’s. People throw around scratch golfers around to freely

DOD and the one handed chipping really needs to go 🤣 it’s so corny. Snap hooking multiple tee shots isn’t a good look. There’s a reason NO professionals do these things.
I don’t understand your comments about your play. Mason off the tee basically hit duck hooks, Cole just did not hit it good all day and far as putting you said you did not make any which is correct because you were not close enough to have a good chance to make. Just overall poor play.
Love you guys but I'm gonna say this. Hitting of the deck on the tee is just clown shit. Jack Nickalaus said it best. Why deprive yourself of a perfect lie. Also, why are you changing what you would do off the tee based on Jack? Hit the same shot you would hit in individual play. Makes 0 sense.
I am sure Mason is just trying to keep the ball in play and doing whatever he can to accomplish that task. It works for him at the moment. Guaranteed he will work his tail off in the off season. Many ways to play this game.
When you're struggling with your driver and partner is always rock solid and starts missing it, you instinctively go into ultra conservative mode. It's just a worst case scenario.
@jacobmccain8082 I mean, why would you ever do anything different in a best ball then you would in a singles event. Worrying about ypur partner is the worst thing you can do
"4-ball" is a term used when 4 balls are in play. Usually a team of 2 vs. a team of 2, which is a group of 4 all playing together. 4-ball is usually played "match play", like in the Ryder Cup. Since your opponent is a large field of 2-man teams, this is not 4-ball. It is 2-ball, stroke play.
Mad Jack is hitting driver bad and your managing to hit it worse. Tee it up! Ughhh. When your not perfect off the deck it brings so much trash into play. Gawd
@bmoneybby Yea and DODing won't fix it haha. The guy tries to move the ball 50 yards in each direction. Today's Balls and equipment aren't built that way. There built for straight. So stop doing extra shit and just learn to trust it.
Mason every round you have filmed since going DOD always at least one or two holes were it goes nowhere and massively overbooks. If your playing tournaments your costing yourself before even teeing of knowing that. Cole use to have a lovely baby draw but going right a lot lately. You guys played college golf and tournaments. You know you got to do it right and DOD isn’t it fellas. Like to see more like this but would like to see you actually try and tackle the bad stuff. It’s hardest sport going but can’t walk away from fundamentals. Come on guys
This shows the difference in playing with your buddies and playing in a tournament on UA-cam. I like these guys and glad they showed this video

Good effort gentleman. Thanks for sharing. Not sure where that course is but those greens looked slick compared to our Bermuda in Florida

lol god damn at the home trac too lol
Tourney golf for ya…
