  • Christoff introduced us to the Grid modular USB controllers, and gave us a tour of their functionality.
These USB class-compliant high resolution midi controllers snap together with magnets, and are super flexible, they remember how you put them together and change their settings accordingly. The editor also knows how you snapped them together and allows you to simply configure the modules how you like.
Available now. Price ranges: 110 euros - 150 euros. 20% discount until 26th May 22 (get the code on their website)

coolest thing I have seen so far from Superbooth.

Very nice modular controllers. There have been other examples of that, but these look to be a more convenient format as well as a more reasonable price than what I've seen before.

I was only slightly curious, then I heard "lua". If I can write and run my own code I'm in.

Just purchased 3 Grid controllers, waiting for them to arrive. Ultimate respect and support to Intech for their great work and vision. Looking forward to see XY release. Cheers! S

Light feedback on the endless encoders would be awesome too

Would have been nice to have the music volume down while explaining I like the concept but not sure about rotating the device to access other midi controls.

It seems a bit confusing, but the alternative would just be less control possibilities, so I think I like it. You don’t have to turn it unless you want😉

They have different pages as well though, to access other midi controls

Would be nice if they could add a midi host module with trs sockets that fits with the aesthetic. But great idea.

Intersesting product. I'm curently on the market for such thing , the 4 long faders module, (for controling CC1, CC11 and CC21 with my left hand) as I'm not totaly happy with the faders I have on my master keyboard.

Great idea, but I can’t help to wonder how those contacts will survive oxidation, repeated impacts, etc. over time.

Looks pretty solid, like it's about as robust as an Apple MagSafe connector. The encoders and faders will probably break before snap connectors. With that said, I'd prefer endless encoders with LED ring for parameter feedback.

for any practical use i would much rather use a screen...i'm currently using my trusted novation sl zero mk1 and I would be happy for something similar in modular form.

Why not make a midikeyboard as an option module to this serie? (With the same snap-on solution). One two and one three octave version depending on modules connected.

Nice modules. Can it read MIDI input data? Let's say to prevent jumps when using a fader (do nothing until you reach the value)

Can I control SENDS in logic pro with this??????

    • @sonicstate
      @sonicstate  5 місяців тому +1

I think Logic has a comprehensive MIDI learn and assignment configuration section so I would assume so. If they offer HUI or Mackie Control Protocol then they should integrate - I checked the website but couldnt see what protocols they support - I would email them to be sure
