@Ronnie Shellist I teach a harmonica class to disabled veterans and active duty military. Alot of them think it's the actual harmonica that I'm playing that sounds good but soon they learn it's all about the practice.
Thanks for subscribing and giving this video a thumbs up! I could only find one place that I trust online where you can purchase this: Elderly Instruments. You can find a link in the video description for that. IF you want to support me, you can purchase harmonicas and gear through my page: www.lessonsquad.com/ronnie-shellist
Rockin Ron's actually carries them! I recently picked one up in A, as more of a carry around/throw it in the car type harp. And I'd have to say your review is pretty spot on with my experience. It'll serve my purpose.. And Ronnie, Thank You, for all that you do on here brother!
Wow, that was a really good sound for that price point. Enjoyed the review. Will certainly buy a couple of these if I see them alongside the other Hohners in my local store. So a little distance with the reeds isn’t always a bad thing if you want a certain sound. Always learn something from your videos. Thanks Ronnie.
I've got one, got it a little while back, I like it, I got one in A might get another in G, I have enough Cs.... I agree they are kind of in between a Big River and a Blues Harp, both of which I like so, yeah, I like them and especially for the current price.
Wow, I'd never heard of the Juke Harp. When this video popped up I thought the name was a bit gimmicky. But it sounds great! I'm a little leery about you saying that it's a bit more breathy. I couldn't play the Suzuki Manji because it's so breathy. And as much as I was looking forward to the MB Deluxe, I also find that a little to breathy for my taste, so I gravitate back to the classic MB. But the Juke sounds really great.
Nice sounding harp. I think I’ll get one in G. My lap, steel and resonator dobro guitars are tuned in open G and D, so it would be a nice accompaniment. By the way, did you make your gray textured background or buy it? It’s a nice background for shooting Portraits.
Arkia sent an Origin my way to demo, and as much as they, and Signature much more cost in comparison to what you just showed us seems hard to justify all the extra money needed to buy even 1 Origin than 3 Hohner Jukes, or Marine Bands. Apx. I guess for the Arkia it's about the Overblows, Overdraws. But, I don't use those. I'll have to see if the Origin just blows me away. There is also the French Yonger harp which is supposed to help control excess salvia. I've got 2 of those to check out. But, after 45 years of playing 90% Marine Bands, and a tip on tilting my head back to hrlp the saliva problem due to missing teeth on one side for the prove, and durability I still think the Hohner Marine Band is a solid harp for beginners, or pros. Even the higher keys are fairly easy to blow bend on the Marine Bands. But, these days I guess if you've got the money you can get a harp set up for what you wanna do with it. But, if you don't it seems like Hohner has you covered with one harp, or another without spending almost half your pay check on 1 harp.
Take a close look at the harp in the link he gives in the description: it seems to be a sort of Special 20 comb but not at the side where your mouth contacts the harp. So it is recessed on the short ends and back, but not at the side where we play it.
I wanted to hear how it sounded on the high notes being bent???... and???? is it tougher to bend the high notes on those cheap harps???then it is on? say.... a special 20 or a blues harp??? I myself have been playing Golden melodies for the last 35 years and they ( hohner) just came out with a “new product” but I’m not sold on it.... I like the “blue midnight” product??? It seems like it’s a lot softer and easy bend harp??? Not real loud though??? When I am teaching others to play/bend I have them use blue midnights??? I’ll probably go over and get a couple of them just to see what they are??? and see how well they play at my next show??? It’s always a good excuse for me to buy a new harps😁😁😁 and as usual??? you sound real good Ronnie!!!
You make every harmonica sound good.
why thanks

Thank you. I never seen this model. Sounds nice. And I always loved The Blues Harp.
As soon as I saw this pop up on UA-cam I knew it would sound great because it’s YOU playing it. Now I’m going to have to get one. 🎉

I’m kind of getting the feeling you could make the hohner bluesband sound awesome
Has a nice sound

So is at a good price point for goodness?

Good brief review. I'd appreciate if you slow down the showing of the box and the instrument on camera so we can appreciate the details. Thanks!
Will do
Hey man, isn't the Pro Harp a kind of mix between Blues Harp and Big River?
I suppose in a way sort of. I believe that they are all MS series.
For 35, not bad
Not bad for an inexpensive Harmonica. So glad it is not made in CHINA
is it a tin sandwich or recessed comb?

Looks like a tin sandwich Special 20.
Good morning Ronnie
mornin' to ya
Cpuld you do a video on the American ace
I could but I'd need to get one first. They don't make those any more as far as I know.
*too
To bad that “Sweetwater” does not ship to Canada!

I did bend a bunch of the high notes on 8, 9 and 10 at 2:46 It's quite easy to bend up there, similar to a Special 20 etc.
What's with all the question marks ?
