- Hi friends! I'm on the road traveling around this summer, so I felt it was a good time to give you an update on my travel art supplies! I bring my usual's, as well as share some new art supplies I picked up. I also discover "scripture pens" are a thing? Anywho, I hope you enjoy the video! Those double ended sharpies are a must, especially for when writing on half pans for brand & colours

The colours got me too honestly. Why is blue sin?!?! All I could think was Matisse’s blue period…so sinful 😂 With that said, it totally makes sense for folks to do bible journaling and want good quality pens that don’t bleed :)

Hi Fiona, I think it’s just branded that way for people into bible journaling. I’ve seen a few other different art supplies that have been promoted for bible journaling lately so I looked it up. Apparently, they even make bibles that are for art journaling in as well now. They look like they have a wide margin and people decorate them and write notes in them. ❤❤❤

It is branded for the Bible so that we can highlight scripture in our Bibles. Bible pages are thin and sometimes company's make this for us to use on those pages. Thanks for showing us you art travel supplies. Have a great week.😊

Gahhh! Travel art supplies videos are my catnip. I am forever tweaking the types of bags I use along with the supplies I have for different creative uses. I am a bag collector and can’t pass up an opportunity to check out used and charity shops for the “perfect” bag that will be the final one. Who am I kidding. 😁
Colour me shocked at the amount of pigment those bargain watercolours had.😮
Wow that follower’s travel bag was a sweet set up. There’s an idea for a video series. “What’s in the bag?” show us your travel supply set up.
I was also surprised by the pigment in the cheaper paint! Another person said they use the markers from that brand too.
I never thought to look in thrift shops - maybe that’s a future video?

Yes I have seen several supplies bible related and they are for bible journaling, which has a pretty big following. They make bible highlighters too.

Hello Fiona, of course, fine liners can be used for a bunch of things but not all pens are safe to use in bibles due to how thin the paper is. Though it is interesting that they chose to set a color code. It’s completely off from what I would choose (if I was into such detailed notation.)
Yes, absolutely! The branding surprised me, but it makes a lot of sense that there’s pens for scripture! Who wants a pen to bleed on their Bible journaling? I agree the color code was an odd choice. Why is blue considered sin?! I have so many questions haha Thanks for watching and sharing :)

I've used the mondo llama alcohol markers from target for about a year now..I'm on set #4. They are double ended & are (I'm assuming) supposed to be like Copics but you can't refill them (I'm cheap so far to go for actual copics 🙃). I'm just starting to use crayola colored pencils more with a basic set on back to school sale & have prismacolors on my list to get next.

@FionaCArt I haven't had any issues with them so far but also haven't really put them to the test hardcore. Would love to see what you think about them & if I'm missing out on anything. Doesn't hurt they're only $25 for 40 markers! Recently found your channel & digging it!

Have you ever worked with graphite pencils or charcoal pencils?
I have :) not my favorite but definitely have done lots of graphite and charcoal work over the years!

@@FionaCArtI'd love to see that as well. I love my Derwent graphite blocks, pencils and paints. I also have e a three colour set of Art Graf. I do a lot of urban sketching do they work well for me.
