Not sure I agree with this. What really impresses me is that she was so sophisticated at such a young age - such a talent, now and then
She plays for bigger audiences now, music should be different. That romantic idea of "selling out"... so outdated xD
She plays completely different style of music mate from that period. She evolved to Techno 😋
she was good then, she is brilliant now. in my opinion, she has never played a bad session. ( sorry to disagree with you)

Charlotte's already at her best !!! What a great sound ! Every moment was based on ambient style and each second of her huge set really reached the stars through a spinning underground techno sound which could have turned into a long trip to acid music, almost a combination of trance and rave that made you take off quickly... Ik kwam even checken of je goed was. Geslaagd! Nu nog die platenspelers een keer zien gebruiken en ik ben fan!
Hessel Ham In vergelijking met andere professionele deejays draait ze nogal eenvoudig naar mijn mening. Ik heb ze bijvoorbeeld nog nooit een back-spin zien doen in haar mixes. Maar al de nummers passen wel goed op elkaar en daar geef ik ze een dikke pluim voor.
***** maakt een back-spin je set dan beter? Backspinning vind ik persoonlijk niet echt moeilijk hoor. Technisch maakt dat mij geen verschil. Daarbij, tis techno, tis nog altijd deels het genre hé
***** Eenvoud is mooi. Niet te veel kunstjes laten zien om jezelf als DJ op te hemelen.
