From a local Yes Paul, it is now very expensive to buy a house in San Antonio given the intention of many investors to set up hotels, restaurants or cafes. The neighborhood moves from 5 in the afternoon when all the businesses open and customers arrive. However, after 10 pm it is better not to walk alone on those streets. The same for "Loma de la Cruz" which really is an artisan center more than a park.

I'll be back there by the end of this month. Landing in Antananarivo, I'll get out of there as soon as possible. Probably take the first flight that is headed up North.
My trick in Cali is the menu del dia at a veg restaurant. Its my main meal of the day. 2 side by side at Carr 6 and Calle7.
Checkout Hotel Real Astoria at Carr 5 and Calle 11. Its a golden oldy, nice views from balcony to park and only a short walk to river in the evening. My gym is in San Antonio. Nice video.
Ok thanks. I went to a place called Primos yesterday. Super busy, the meal was decent. I will check out that veg restaurant.
If you are getting a crown and need to wait, try out Buenaventura, easy van ride from Cali. Funky place worth a couple nights. Then return by Buga, touristy church town but worth a look. There is a small micro brewery there that will knock your socks off.
I wanted to go to Buenaventura but don't have time and need to work online this week... Maybe next trip.
