A couple of months ago I went to Lenno on Lake Como. It was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever gone. Then I went to another beautiful location, Chamonix. I need to travel more often.
MJ dreams are messages from the deep. In every dream, there is a message we don't understand in the first moment, but we must listen to it. La lingua friulana è bella da sentire, suona un po' come l'Occitano. Grazie per aver letto il libro, mi è piaciut molto. Buone feste a te e la tua famiglia ❤
Everybody dreams. Most don't remember their dreams unless they suddenly are awakened by it. Unless they are traumatized by it, they quickly forget it, and it goes back into their subconscious mind.
A thoughtful and poetic video - even before your very expressive reading of an actual poem! Wishing you and all your family a quick recovery from the winter maladies, and a happy year ahead.
My dreams are so disturbing at times that I think i've trained myself to not remember! Yes places that don't exist and situations that you'd couldn't imagine being in. Very abstract.
i am 50 now....I used to have re-curing dream as a Boy of 7-8 about being a Female running down the slope of a mountain picking flowers........maybe a former life.......
@17:00 "O forse non facciamo altro che sognarci tutti a vicenda? Un intreccio di sogni, un groviglio senza confini, senza fondo? Siamo tutti un unico sogno che nessuno sta sognando?"
I have multiple dreams most nights. Many of which, i can recall at least partly, the next day. Some of my dreams, i have the sensation of touch/feel etc and in some other dreams, i seem to make conscious decisions to do things.
Ciao! Like you, I live in NYC and totally agree with you when you say that the winds from the rivers and ocean blow out all the pollution from the city. But I have to tell you that it was not always that way, especially back in the '70s and '80s. Pollution was out of control back then, and the air quality was completely different than it is today! As far as the dreams go, I heard we dream of places we've never been to because these dreams are reflections of our previous lives. It's happened to me. I sometimes dream of growing up in a northern European town, but I'm the son of Italian immigrants from the south of Italy, and I even speak German. Cosa di pazzo! LOL.
I was surprised to hear about this phenomena related to the alps in your region... it's not something I would have ever seriously considered as a possibility, in such a relatively open space like this! (only perhaps at a much more limited level, due to the blocking effects of the alps, during certain wind conditions nearby... but certainly not to this extent!). I had to think if there was any similar such phenomena, anywhere in New Zealand, that I could think of, but it's really different to what you describe, because the effects are far more localized, in the one area that I could actually think of!. The city of Christchurch used to have a terrible problem with this during still winter mornings, when everyone still had their open fireplaces, and would light them to keep warm... but I think this is largely in the past now! (well at least I no longer hear about it!). So I would have to say no... and certainly not where I'm living, which is like a drafty alleyway!... even probably by New York standards! (but honestly, it's not that bad most of the time!...it's just well ventilated!). The mountain ranges do create other effects though, with the predominant westerly winds, leaving much less rainfall in the east generally, as they're subject to wind shadow effects (called 'Fohn' winds). Basically what happens there, is that the air cools, as it is forced to ascend, leaving any moisture to form as fog and precipitation, that then gets released on to the alps at very high altitude (leaving essentially dry air behind it!). Moving to the subject of dreams though, I tend to fully agree that most meaningful dreams occur, when a certain level of deep sleep is entered into. I like many others, have found this increasingly hard to achieve, due to modern day distractions, and the demands on our time, from different sources. However, I have had dreams that have not related to anything I know or understand, or are in places that are completely outside my experience, in a physical sense. About three or four months ago, I had a reoccurring dream about my friends mother, who has now been deceased for almost three years. She was talking to me about her life now... and how she was in a really good place, with a beautiful garden, and lovely surroundings, and couldn't be happier!. This dream occurred at least three times, over the course of about a week, and felt very real, at least until I came to the realization of what was happening. The one thing to say though, is that I recognized nothing whatsoever about my surroundings, which on reflection, seemed very strange to me!.
C'è qualcuno intende rinunciare a questi comforts, a questi "privilegi"?
I don't know if you are american or wherever you come from, but it was very surprising to hear you reading a poetry in some northern italian "dialect"! Maybe friulano, isn't it?
This December and in general this part of the winter was above average warm. Here in Croatia, they say that the cold and the "Bura" (the north-west wind that blows from the land to the sea) clean the air of viruses and bacteria. In addition to all this, the number of flu, whooping cough and covid is increasing again. You should be careful and avoid large groups of people, and it's not a bad idea to get vaccinated. It is strange to see Christmas and New Year without snow. Global warming at work.
The last time I dreamed about you, you had short blond hair. You were at the same party I was at. It was one of those lucid dreams that felt like a second life. Recognizable as a dream only by a toilet with a seat that was an aquarium with lots of little colorful fish in it.

In Long Island City the air was horrible when I lived there.

Think we all do have a certain ‘dream map’ that expands and curates as some parts gets chipped away while some remain
I got a book History of Friuili: Formation of a People by Gian Carlo Menis. I hope it is accurate. I hope the culture of Friuli can continue.
Nice bgm..thankyou
We all dream. Most of us just forget the whole dream, or only remember the hast part of it!
