when you play along with a lot of pre-record tracks, you should look less bored as the song starts and treat that pre-recorded stuff like you made it. otherwise, how does the audience know they're supposed to pay attention? or care? you gotta perform.
Am I the only person on the internet to notice that this band does not actually play any instruments live? The singer airs his guitar in every single video I have seen them doing a concert. It is a joke. The keyboardist has everything recorded- he sometimes will play the lead melody but not very often. There is no drummer- all recorded. It is embarrassing and hugely disappointing because I love this band and have a couple of their albums. They should learn how to play if they going to perform live otherwise don't bother and remain a studio band. They don't do many concerts so maybe they are more just composers and just go out on tour just when they really need money. They are definitely not comfortable on stage and don't seem to know what they are doing- too bad.
well, go see them live and you'll know... If you still won;t get it, stick to some guitar masturbation virtuosos who can do all the trick but have no soul
