When Wooyoung sings "Halazia" at the beginning his voice sounds like an actual angel it's so pretty And when San sings it as well at the end of the song it sounds gorgeous, I love their voices sm Also Seonghwa looks like a god^^
I also got emotional watching this. I legit cried when San started to yell out pulling the sphere, my cousin's paused it because I was hyperventilating. I just felt the weight of everything,the lyrics, their expressions, the cinematography and the chanting of HalaZIA crashed on me. So I understand. I finally watched the entire video and was in awe, speechless. My family and I watched and discussed it a million times and watched your reaction as well, we enjoyed and related. This song is one of the most epic, powerful, haunting, hypnotic, other-worldly, passionate and beautiful songs I have ever heard (the production, the vocals, the LYRICS, the transitions, the haunting melodies, the instrumentation, their flow, and the BEAT!!!!). And the video is BEYOND epic, too! The production, the cinematography, the storyline, the MESSAGE, the choreography, the dancing, the outfits, the visuals, the Oscar-worthy facial expressions and acting of each member. The song and MV are both MASTERPIECES!!!! I am OBSESSED with EVERYTHING ATEEZ and I just cannot get this song out of my head. ATEEZ, along with Eden/Edenary, BB Trippin, their stylists and their glam team are some of THE most talented people on the planet and a truly magical combination!!!!! Yessss the cinematography and the composition of certain shots were some of my favorite in everything I’ve seen from them so far, it’s incredible. Definitely agree about the giving attention to everyone too, I feel like this year they’ve utilized everyone’s voices and dancing the most and really have given each member a chance to stand out in their own way which I love

My initial reaction was also sad, because how powerful that bell and the visual of ball crashing down on San. My theory is San is the hero that sacrifices himself to get everything back to order by getting the ball sphere down because the sphere represented the emotions that were locked up. The lyrics and the song itself reminded me like a cry for freedom. The bell ringing is really haunting imo but it can mean welcoming a new era tbh. RE: I was waiting for someone to mention the tune you started looked confused about that tune you might have heard in the second part of Jongho/Yunho-Hongjoong+Mingi rap before. I was waiting for someone to pick up the notes. It's from the Guerrilla MV where they teased, but stripped down to only instrumentals. And yes, the room def is reminiscence of Answer's MV, but the aftermath of the fight that may have happened during the Answer Ode To Joy (live) performance.

I noticed that Seonghwa is glitching, Jongho at one point looks like he's standing behind a really old piece of glass (almost rippled at the bottom), and you pointed out the dreamlike quality of the empty room. I wonder why there were several different affects and whether it has something to do with the storyline.
This is Yeosang era he has been getting alot of attention. He has the same heavy vocal in other songs but somehow it hits diff here. I wish I knew what is going on in the storyline but wont try I will read other theories.This one of their darker concept it has a gloomy haunting feeling to it. Ateez songs brings goosebumps but Halazia is another goosebump song after answer these are different. Atiny has been waiting for Halateez appearance for ages. Just to see them back in the outfits again then to hv a spin of with different characters. There is a perf on mbc kpop

I highly recommend watching it at the slowest playback speed. You can really see all the incredible visual details. The whole thing is just stunning!
