I have the UQi+ Sport. There is truly only one major problem = there is a strong lack of online support. When you search for UQi, you get results for KQi, even when you adjust the google search to exclude KQi and force the inclusion of UQi. I just want to adjust the front disc brake calipers and there is no information anywhere on the interwebs. Also, I hate the fact that kickscooters are stealing the word "scooter" away from actual scooters. It makes searching for scooters (which are not exactly mopeds) almost impossible. Otherwise, good bike! For inclines, put it in Mode 2 (Turbo) to ensure you're still going uphill at about 30kph, not 8kph.
@@shinosg-wiz4619 I mean the braking pads are too tight -- too close to the disk. In Niu's KQi and NQi (and in many other disc brake systems [bikes, cars, motocycles, etc.]), that's adjustable. But not on the UQi+ model.
the niu says its recommended up to 15 degrees incline, how much from your experience can it actually handle until it slows down hard? it's also a bit overpriced here in canada to what we can get. Any other ebikes you recommend checking out also? what do u normally ride?
How good is it climbing up hills, i don't mean mountains, but respectable incline, take my son to school on a cheap crappy ebike killing me the last 100M having to push up hill. Time to buy something more powerful. too close to drive my car it's pointless and nowhere to park at school gates. Great video on this model, looks like a winner.
I have the same exact situation, my daughter school is at the top of a pretty steep hill and too close too drive, it climb pretty good, need to make sure to get the same model, is 6400rmb for reference.
@@RageStudios Great, I did suspect it's got better torque than domestic motors which just are designed for people who weigh the same as a bag of noodles, perfect for my wife not my western build! ;-o . Thanks for info, now I'm looking for close local store to take a look.

the naming system is getting complicated, haha
What do you mean adjust the front disk brake? You mean you need me breaking pads? New disk? New caliper?
