After seeing this video, I signed up with Consumer Reports to see what they said about the Toto Ultramax II toilet that was talked about in this video. They did not even review this toilet in their reports. So what the hell are they talking about? I want a refund!
What are the criteria for a bidet to be thought as the best?
1.To be as effective as it could be. Obviously its water stream must be VERTICAL.
2. It must be sanitary safe.
3. It should be easily installed.
4. Easily used.
5. Durable.
5. Not costly.
0:55 ya, I don’t like Toto toilets. Especially the ultramax and ultramax II. About 9 years ago, my dad was going to buy a new toilet for our powder room and he suggested the Toto ultramax II and I showed him this video and he changed his mind and we bought a Kohler san Raphael
Out of all the Toto toilets, just that one that was tested didn't work like it should. Toto is actually one of the best brands around.
+filmer750 No it's not. It's a high priced piece of junk. I'm a retired contractor and had many problems w/ them. I recommend the Kohler Wellworth 1.6 gph. Unfortunately, they now have a 1.28 gph that sucks. I guess their all full of shit.
+Alex Tworkowski So I guess all the water saving toilets don't do the job no matter what the price? I heard plungers don't work with them either. I was gonna get 3 of them delivered on yesterday but cancelled it. I needed to do more research

I have a Kohler 1.6 gallons per flush and like it a lot. However, when it came time to replace the flush valve seal, I had no idea how to remove the canister. When I figured it out, I made a video titled, "How To Replace The Seal On A Canister Style Flush Valve From Kohler." Check it out if you need help removing a canister style flush valve. :)
Project Source and Glacier Bay are good and cheap. They have big drain and 3 inch flush valve. Butt you need to modify these for more power. Glue a taller plastic pipe to the flush valve pipe to raise the water level to 2 gallons or more. Plug the rubber or plastic flapper valve hole on the side not the bottom hole. This keeps the flapper valve open longer. Adjust the water valve higher for a higher water level in the tank. Only use the plain wax ring not the one with the black plastic little funnel thing. It gets loose and clogs the drain pipe.
Glacier bay is the worst toilet you can buy! You are wrong af

I have found toto to be over rated and parts are sometimes very difficult to find vs american standard or kohler.
Most of the toilets Home Depot and Lowes sells are absolute junk.
So many homes in the USA have contractor grade toilets like the horrid Mansfield 60 installed mainly because they only cost $80 retail.

My TOTO does better and is 1.28 gallons. It flushed 55 paper towels.
It flushed it with no ploblem.

So, let's see... They showed a few toilets, gave the name of only one toilet brand and said it was bad. Really? That's so dishonest to say at least! What was a real purpose of this video? I can't believe it! And that's Consumer Reports! Wow... You can't do it!
