Great video! I was trying to brainstorm how to add a siren for my ring alarm to put inside detached garage, and one to alert on outside of my home when I ran across your video. I didn't even know ring made those power outlets. They're always trying to recommend light bulbs, floodlights, and other stuff I don't want but never once saw this smart outlet! Ordered my strobes and sirens just now, and will be doing this tomorrow. Thanks for sharing this easy solution!
I have a question can you set it to turn on the outlet when the alarm goes off? I called ring and they told me the bridge will only turn the lights on if you connect it to a ring camera. Thx for any information on this because I want to do like you did and install a siren out side and use the outdoor outlet .
I called ring and they won’t tell me how this would connect. They tell me contact sensors or motion won’t trigger the outdoor outlet. Please please help me

Yes you can get the alarm from the base station to activate the outlet.
