Villa only finished 8 points ahead of us, without the injury crisis we absolutely would have won the Everton (A), Luton (A), and Forest (H) games (and possibly more) for at least enough to get CL. Next season we'll be right up amongst them!

EVERYONE agreed that we over achieved last season. This season we finished 3 places lower in our worst injury season EVER. That's a good result, all things considered.

Great season! European conf is very winnable and look at alot of other teams changing managers or rebuilding their teams, we're looking like one of the most stable squads. With a front 3 of gordon, isak and minteh, thats lightning in a jar. Joelinton, bruno and tonali behind that, all quality ball players, strong in all areas backed by trips, hall, schar and botman, that is a formidable team.
The most goals in the premier era and alot of really class goals, superb bits of skill. There is so much to look forward too. howaaaaayyy

Better than 8th is literally fucking outstanding. Without the injury/ suspension bad luck, we could of been back in the CL, maybe challenging. The future is black and white. 7th and back to back promotions HWTLL

A season of euphoric highs and excruciating lows but, on balance I’m proud of how we’ve stuck at it over these last 10 or so games when we could easily have allowed the season to just slip away.
This season has shone a bright light on the strength in depth (or lack of) in the squad after you get to 14-15 players and the club have an interesting juggling act to play over the summer in bringing in some top class players to replace one or two starting XI players, but also to replace a lot of the loyal servants in the squad whose time is now up.
I look forward to seeing how it all plays out

7th is an achievment, still think we could and should have done better given the oposition we dropped pointa against at key times, but we boxed off a decent finish when you compare our squad costs and wage costs vs Chelsea and Manure its a massive acheivment comparing like for like investment wise, even villa have a bigger wage bill than us. If we dont have a screwed up summer recruitment next season will be a good one for sure.

Thank god this season is done its been stressful but quietly pleased with how it ended today. Got it over the line. Hope Man City can win the cup so we at least get Conference League. Thanks to all of you on the True Faith Podcast keeping us chuckling and sane through what has been a real rollecoaster of a season. Hope you have a great summer guys. Evidence that Eddie and mad dog watch the channel some of the nastiness back , and shithousery with mad dog getting booked. All things considered this season has been a rollercoaster highs and lows but I feel positive that next season we will retain Bruno and Isak and add more class to the squad. UTFM and don’t let us down city !!

Rather annoyingly I live in Brentford and couldn’t even get a seat in the Bees end. I could hear the fans cheering though. That was nice.
I agree with the sentiment of CR about the season being over - glad to move on. I do wish the lads were just allowed to have a meaningful rest. Now! Hey ho…….. (ps I’d like to be more supportive of my local club but it’s the red & white stripes! Just upsets me).
