- Here's my full arrangement of the opening theme to Mushoku Tensei, used as the ending in episode 1! Such a beautiful song... and I really hope my arrangement does it justice.
I know I said it once but I'll say it again. This song. Is so beautiful. By far my favourite seasonal song (although I might be saying this too early because there's still a couple anime yet to air?) and probably for the past year. I immediately wanted to arrange this, no question. But I ran into a problem... I suck at arranging ballads (and songs of similar style).
So anyways... here's my best take on it. Took me the entire day, basically nonstop, just because starting tomorrow I want to focus on my university courses that start.
With that, I hope you enjoy my arrangement, and I hope you enjoy the song as much as I did! I also hope you're all watching this because I am very excited to see where the anime adaptation takes it.
Also with that... here ends my uploads for the season. Probably.

A: All my arrangements can be played if you can reach a 10th (C to next octave E). If there is a stretch that seems longer than that, consider using the other hand, or possibly the sustain pedal! this is hands down one of my favourite anime songs of all time, minami's "crying for rain" is great and so are all the Jojo openings and more, but ive never had a song make me feel so much like im actually in the world of the show, maybe its because of the montages that accompany this song at the start of every episode, but it really is just a great song

Nagatsuki Tappei (ReZero): It goes without saying that "Mushoku Tensei" is interesting, but first of all, it's amazing that you were able to depict the life of one character, Rudy. People say that "CLANNAD" is life, but for me, "Mushoku Tensei" is life.

@@vyllan34 So far the anime adapting the novel well. Highly recommend the LN if u wish to know more and interested in little detail about spell, such as cumulonimbus. The test that was done to make Rudy saint-class magician. To make that phenomena Roxy needs to maintain the mana usage while Rudy using science make the cloud maintain itself.

I already know that at some point either the anime or the manga is going to make me cry, it is just that kind of story
it is slow not gonna lie, but on the later stories every time I see a "turning point" title my heart aches. I've read a turning point which embodied actual depression, I dropped for a few days because of that but still continued. this is story is a masterpiece

The song just makes me sad cuz i finished the novels recently, and everything to do with this series just reminds me of the ending and the fact that there is nothing left to read. the pain
Is it just me that thinks that the opening being called "Traveler's Song" is extremely poetic?

@@zzzAnimeonPiano I think Spice and Wolf's OP1 Tabi no Tochuu is actually in 6/8. I thought they were both 3/4 at first too but almost all arrangements I see put it as 6/8 and it doesn't really fit well in 3/4.
Both songs are extremely similar (and beautiful) though, especially in structure, instrumentation, and lyrics.
You're technically right, but I was more referring to the fact that they were both in a 3 feel as opposed to the specific time signatures. Good point though!

Let's hypothetically say that you're a guy with almost no experience playing piano at all but you're dead set on playing this because its too damn beautiful. Would you say its possible?
Honestly, I would suggest getting used to playing other easier songs. It's taken me two months to learn the first 2 pages and i have cut the song down to the short version just so it won't take me too much longer
If you really want to play it, go for it. The scales on page 3 and later are hard to play consistantly though so be prepared for that.
unless you have extremely large hands, this piece will be extremely difficult if not impossible to play because it has a alot of 13+ key chords to play with one hand (page 3 measure 1). id probably go to a different arrangement to play this. plus this piece has a lot of runs that'll take some practice.
