- This video was released in the early 90's as part of a two piece set from A&E the set included "Brothers in Battle" FDNY. and "In The Heat of the Blaze" Chicago. At the end of Brothers in battle a music video was compiled I was able to edit the footage and get in on here. I hope you enjoy it and if you were lucky enough to see these videos I hope in brings back memories.

A well done video. I did 28 years on FDNY, and want this video played at my memorial service when I’m gone . I loved that job !

Recognize a lot of guys from the job here....what sums it all up best for me is @4:51, one of the brothers saying something and laughing......I did 21 years and had 21 lifetimes of laughter. I've done a lot since then, but nothing will ever compare to being a FDNY Fireman

An old buddie who was on the FDNY site who created a tool for them back with they had the war years which he was in sent me this movie (DVD) he had and his son and grandson is still on the FDNY!
Wow seriously, How would this be an insult in anyway? I posted the end of the Video because it is so fantastic I wanted to share it with others who may not have seen this video in its entirety before. I am a proud owner of Brothers in Battle and Heat of the Blaze both of which are great videos no Copyright intended what so ever. It's not like I am making copies of the video and redistributing them for sale or taking credit for the video. That would be an insult me sharing a great video is not.

Judy Means, you are right. Every fireman will tell you, you have to prove yourslf to win your brothers respect, and yes, trust. It doesn't come easy. And it should never come easy. I had to win trust from my own father and brothers. My sons had to earn my trust. And i hope that never change.

September 11th 2001 is so long ago, i was in a Hospitol when two 110 story building fell straight down & a big dust bowl was left. i cryed how could this happen. i think today Putin wants to fight Nato & my mom was a Polish American farm girl when she met my dad in New jersey in 1944 my big brother is 75 years old , i don't remember his private phone number he was drafted & worked as an Nation Guard & came home to my mom & dads house after being in West Germany two years, my oldest sister 8 years older than me died of bladder cancer about 10 years ago I'm the youngest of four kids from my mom. i was never drafted & most of my older relatives male were drafted & my brother had a birth defect in his chest & was still drafted, he much better educated than me.💔

jennifur sun you can find shirts at FDNYshop.com or NYFirestore.com, as for the whole video you can find the VHS on Amazon most likely. It's from A&E FDNY Brothers in Battle, you may be able to find it in full length on the internet too.

The whole documentary is called Brothers in Battle. I remember it was on VHS. I haven't looked for it on UA-cam.
I posted a video well 3 one could of had copyright problems but the other two were videos of photos and video I shot when I was driving tow trucks UA-cam didn't like the fact nor did evergreen social media that I used the son Don't Leave Me Now by Supertramp so I had all my videos deleted and have been banned from UA-cam I make videos for a hobby and have made videos about the F D N Y and LAFD so again bad ass video
