So happy you made this video. Just bought a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. In addition to fishing, canoeing and camping, I can easily add overlanding and 4x4 to the mix. Had no idea that I "stumbled" on to of the two most profitable niches on UA-cam: automotive and outdoors. Just the aftermarket upgrade for most any off-road vehicle is a niche in and of itself. It really does blend lifestyle, education and entertainment.
Just found your channel and someone that has had my channel recently monetized you have given me great ideas. Appreciate how you explain confusing things in a simple format. Keep doing good work brotha!!!
So my niche, cruise travel is getting me anywhere around a $20.00 CPM. Not bad. I was very surprised when I became monetized and now looking at additional revenue streams for my small channel that growing by about 150 subs per week. I'm also building a plan to go from 1600 views per day to 16000 views per day to really push this thing.
What kind of content you uploads on cruise travel
I think adding chapters would help a lot to backtrack to niches that peaked interests for reference

I've been trying to figure out a niche for my channel and I found it hard to understand the difference between the tutorial and the productivity niche. The way you expounded on the content included in the productivity niche: consumer, lifestyle, and education made it clear which direction someone would need take to create content in the productivity niche versus the tutorial niche.

Not surprised that gaming was not in this top 8 at all. Even with it being saturated, the moment you mentioned a market of folks who spend money vs are broke. I knew they were gonna be out. Too many niches I’m faking are actively against supporting monetarily.

Stay consistent on whatever it is you’re doing content wise. You will be able to look at your analysis and see what your audience likes most about the video and where they’re clicking off. Also make UA-cam shorts that’s such a good thing right now and it’s going to bring traffic your way! I also would suggest linking a good Google account! Just keep at it and stay consistent even with the time you’re uploading and the days you upload bc ppl like things that are familiar to them. Best of luck!

I started with just whatever I had and sometimes would borrow from friends then I traded a camera rental site some articles and permission to use my videos in their blogs in exchange for borrowing gear for a week.
When I made money I bought and rented gear.

I'm curious as to whether you've had any data from hi-fi/home theater creators? I figure it must be a reasonably high CPM for the same reasons that the camera niche is... the audience needs some money to actually be a part of it, and brand deals are a pretty good fit for it, but there aren't too much channels in that niche so I was wondering if you'd heard anything? Cheers from Australia.

Geographical location of your audience also effects overall CPM. Tech videos tend to attract lot of audience from India and English speaking Asian countries, but unfortunately the CPM from these countries is literally pennies on a dollar. All this is based on my personal experience running a tech channel with around 31K subs.
I made a different video addressing what gives a higher CPM rate. It depends on what tech you cover. If it’s everyday consumer electronics or if you do giveaways, yes you will get a lot of lower CPM views

Should I make separate videos (one in Italian and one in English) on the same topic or put subtitles?
I personally am turned off by subtitles (must be due to the fact that I am a translator and fluent in several languages).

There are several potential affiliate options and the CPM is good just like web design

Great video, Roberto, thanks so much! One thing I’d love to see a video about sometime: how to manage doing more than one channel, in different niches. How to juggle that workflow. Right now I’m in gaming and have been learning a lot, it’s been great as a first channel, but I’d like to expand into something else like content creation tips for other gaming UA-camrs such as better thumbnails and titles, or art and art tutorials, or a reaction channel.
he says not do start multiple channels unless you've reached 100k subs on your main channel. At that point you'd be able to hire helpers to reduce the workload
