Hi
This came so clutch because I bought a mx-1 and ab-1 for $20 and I couldn’t find a manual
Ty man
All the Videonics gear was sold under the ROWI brand here in Europe. I still have some of the stuff lying around in the basement.
Feels like i already know how to use the Videonics AB-1 Edit Suite
are the transitions in this video used on a same video editing machine or silicon graphics transitions or something?
There's another video for the MX-1 (see ua-cam.com/video/Beb-I7lefSA/v-deo.html) made by the same team that states "All effects and titles were creatd entirely on the videonics MX-1 digital video mixer and the videonics TM-2000 Titlemaker", so my guess is yes, they used the MX-1 video mixer for the transitions and effects on this video also.
@@lbaeza I've been watching malaysian chinese karaokes for a year and everytime I watched them, the transitions like ball drop effect here: 20:29, would you analyze the video I put here that they have been using these transitions if they actually used the videonics MX-1 or something: watch?v=HpAlo0hol4c -- i can't put video link due to UA-cam spam filters so you need to put it at the end of the youtube com slash.
and plus does the videonics machine have the ability to move the video to the area like bridge for the video I linked?
This is what im talking about here: ua-cam.com/video/HpAlo0hol4c/v-deo.html
@@starbutterflygaming8881 i don´t think the 3D type transitions in this video were produced with Videonics equipment, except in the video that I baezaq mentions. The transitions from the MX-1 are way too crude. In this vdeo (the one that describes the Videonics edit suite) they use transitions from a more "professional" suite, such as the (then) state of the art Video Toaster, the Fast VideoMachine, the Video Cube or early versions of such NLEs such as Media100, Avid, Speed Razor or even Adobe Premiere
@@juliomartinez2647 I’ve seen the video toaster ones already and I don’t think is the same match, I’m trying my best to find the actual software for the ball drop effect and it supports windows also because it’s used up to 2003 for the arial font
