A couple of helpful tips I've discovered...first, you can take any/everything you want from The Lodge and it isn't considered stealing. Second, to place items on wall shelves, put the shelf temporarily in the lowest possible position anywhere, place the items, then move the shelf where you want it. The items will go with the shelf. I use the Build Mode to do this.
Thank you, yes Lodge was a good plays to get junk 👍Sorry, I dont know were my reply went on your previous question 🤔 Havent played Starfield in about 6 months, so dont remember so much. But I did a tutorial how to plays junk, and as I remember it was 2 ways to place stuff, loose or fixed.
Very very nicely done!! I appreciate your taste not tending toward clutter. A few other vids re decorating the penthouse cram way too much stull. Your design is clean, simple. Great job :)
@@deceitfulcurve Question: how to you place books in a bookcase? I can't seem to find the right angle, pretty fiddly. I know it can be easier to move the bookcase away from the wall, place the books, and return it to the wall, but can't get this to work.
I can practically guarantee it.. I've played Fallout 4 for 10 years and modders are still making gobs of awesome stuff for the settlements. It's a very bright future, especially for homes and outposts in Starfield.
You must have the patience of a saint. I find placing misc items as decorations frustrating. they won't always go where i want even picking them up in build mode. Usually only will place right at the edge of a table or shelf. I've also come back to see all my carefully placed items (like a whisky glass on my bedside table) sunk half way into the table
If you go to the right off the balcony, there's a ledge out there that you can actually build on. I put a chair and a side table...good spot to chill if you're not afraid of heights, which my character isn't 'cause i often jump off and fly right to my ship.
Who is that with you? Looks like they have a quest marker on their head. I don't recognize them as any known companions. Could it be an alternative universe you?

This honestly excites me for what’s to come. Surely they’ll expand on the decorating element.
I hope they do, I love decorating. I hope we get more modules for the outposts aswell 😁

Yes, my patience is in good shape so far 😁but I do have the same prblm with half sunken things, but if I lift them up once again they stay put.
