- A Hartford man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a Connecticut state trooper Thursday afternoon on Interstate 84 in Southington.
The enforcement of a frickin' seat belt law cost a human his life. Think about the insanity of that for a minute.

@@larssandvik1347 Finally, you're being specific. No one wants to live next to people like this. I sure as heck don't. Working in the legal field and worked for a brief moment in the juvenile division before going to major case. A lot of those kids needed their behinds tore up. However, this government took the discipline from the parents and replaced it with "time outs" and "don't tell your child, NO" bs. Please. It would be a "no" before it even comes out of their mouths. That is if I had a kid. And by the way, I'm not Puerto Rican. I'm American and I do live in the States. Born and bred here.
Why did these bastard judges and DA's keep letting these repeat offenders out and not making them do their time which results in accidents like this😢😢😢😮

Maybe pulling someone over on a busy highway just for a seat belt violation isn't a major priority? Maybe you young Troopers could also follow the speed limits you're supposed to enforce? I've been driving trucks for over 30 years and every day I see at least one State Trooper speeding well over the limit with no lights or sirens on. Be safe and pay attention!!

A seat belt caused this . W T F OVER THIS SAD CONNECTICUT.
Nothing sad about it. All the violations on the HIGHWAY, and they pulling people over for seat belts and license plates in the window and not on the bumper because of an accident. Let that be a lesson to STATE TROOPERS

JUDGES need to be responsible....lets find out how this repeat offender got out again....News 3.....CT wants to know why he was out???????......police protect to have repeat offenders out over an over and over.......our Police need to form a watch group to keep them from having to go through people they arrest getting out by poor Judges.....this is very serious for there safety.prayers to his family in every form.......

This guy had already been convicted of third-degree murder and attempted homicide. So now he is out driving around without a license, on drugs, and klled one of the good guys - a state trooper. I wonder where he came from. Is he an illegal?
