Hey Drae, theres actually a place where those buses are parked, you can watch videos of people entering that place. Search for the channel "shiey", he went there (as others too) Video is called "Found HUNDREDS of vehicles in abandoned "Soviet-Spaceship" Hope you guys enjoy.
Thats actually incorrect - all those buses were either decontaminated and continued their lifespan in places from where they came from or dismantled / buried / destroyed etc. Shiey has some great videos, and that particular one that you mention is filmed in Kyiv bus storage, where all the written off ~10-15 year old buses wait to be either repaired or scraped.

it was soviet union time and this disaster took place in the territory of Ukrainian soviet republic, not russia. But the "taxi" was indeed a police car, as they used that color scheme back in the day
Why didn't they make it more realistic. This is an evacuation. And they decided to have people calmly and slooooowly saunter onto the bus. And why have cars driving DOWN the mountain? I get hat they wanted to add the time factor and the obstacles on the road, but they could have done that while making it more realistic. Just give less time before the wave hits but still have the people rushing to get on the bus. Or even just have the panicked people pushing and shoving, which takes up more time. Then have other cars on the road going UP that you have to avoid. Maybe cars broken down. Or rubberneckers.
The amount of sims this man brings to the table is second to none, hands down.
