Damn that Beauden Barrett intercept could have changed the whole trajectory of the game. Great awareness that the man with the ball was safely covered.
Talk about watching the whole game. U my man saw that save by BB. That was a try. 14-0 Mounga lacks that on the International stage... good comment G.
Yess beauden is good at both defense and has a solid attacking creative play. Mounga has much more line breaks but his not a complete package yet

Pure gold. As a neutral, I never understood how NZ looked past BB for the 10 jersey, this guy wins you matches on a regular basis
I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but I just love Justin Marshall as a commentator. His excitement and passion for the game is contagious. That first Ireland try is a great example of it, he's just stoked to see brilliant rugby on display.
He's a really nice bloke as well. He always has time for fans and he takes the piss out of himself. I remember he really enjoyed meeting a bunch of fans who went up to him wearing tops saying "Me oh my, I have enjoyed that, yes boy" 😂😂😂😂😂
Are you serious..?..how many times he's made the wrong call playing ref and tmo..he needs to shut up and get his facts right...embarrassing..
As an Irish person I was very impressed with his NZ/IRL commentary in Dublin.
🙄 The match was very entertaining. I had to tune out the commentary because too much talking distracts from the match. I can see the hard knocks and tackles, and even feel them. Having someone tell me how hard those tackles were....
I guess I'm trying listen to the referee's instructions and the banter between the players to appreciate the commentators flowering descriptions.
@@sollyharr As a non-New Zealander, I find the rest of your commentator squad far worse than him. So partisan that they will say anything rather than admit a fault on the part of the AB's.

very pleased with the defensive effort on the goal line and the scrum work. Bower was fantastic.
Ardie Savea is unreal. He has the pace and skill of a back, and a relentless work-rate. I was debating to myself whether Julian or Ardie has been more valuable to the ABs. Probably Julian, since he was unstoppable for so many years, but you could make an argument for either brother. Great performance by the ABs today. Disciplined, composed, and creative in attack, which had been lacking recently

I was in your shoes once. It was around 2019 that I made up my mind, and trust me I was the biggest Julz fan, the sheer power of the guy was unbelievable and he dominated for quite some time - 5 years in rugby is eternity. But 2019 Ardie and ever since, he's just been pure class at every showing. It's not just his skills and rugby IQ, or his speed and power, it's his sheer will and determination against the odds, always pumping his legs as he's been known to do. Ardie any day for me

Ardie Savea is proving to the All Blacks management that it was worth it for them to pay him that much money in his contract that he himself negotiated with them instead of going through a middleman. Good on him. This Samoan son is on beastmode anytime he steps on that field.
At die played Sevens before, I think. Hence the speed. While I celebrate the win, the Irish came close to scoring about 3 times.

They practically went "ok,ok very good Ireland bro, I like it, now this how we roll in aotearoa cuz, keep your hands by your side and hold on tight cause it's gonna get a bit bumpy" dropped it down a gear then they shot the gap

Great game! Scott gave tremendous support to the prop on his side and made the second row push much more effective. All Black scrum was awesome.

No team in world rugby kills off a game like the All Blacks. You can hammer them from pillar to post for 60 minutes straight and they'll still beat you with 15 minutes of world class play. Ireland played very well at the start of both halves but that's never enough against the ABs, especially at Eden Park.
Do the French ever tour the Southern Hemisphere?

Not that it prevents the aussies from bragging about a narrow victory over à french developpement team, by the way. This morning they won in japan.

Beauden Barret's intercept changed the game from a certain try for Ireland to an eventual try for AB: a 14 point turnaround. Psychology spun here and Ireland tried to press the game: never goes well against the ABs when that happens.
A couple of moments here and there , ref giving play a different take and Ireland could have had a shock result (just like England did)..looks promising for World Cup...the more teams that are competitive the better the spectacle. My money is on France, if they get the right ref on the day...

For me Ireland's 3rd try ( not awarded) should have been a Penalty try. AB abuse physical submition to the limit sometimes.

Outstanding performance by the All Blacks. Ireland started off flying but then they lost there composer especially in defense and the scrum line-out so where to go from now, not much time. But the All Blacks were a forceful unit especially at home. So here to next Saturday!

JGP played well but made 2 crucial mistakes: taking the quick tap at 14-5 when a makeable penalty would have cut the score to 6, going on his own from near his own goal line when they were down by 3 scores I think. Both plays out Ireland into a deeper hole. Don’t get me wrong I love the way he moves the ball quickly and works the short side. He needs to be. Better game manager

@Paddy le Blanc I certainly think that the scoreline isn't to representative of the match as a whole. Ireland were superior in the first 20 Minutes but really lost it after that. If they had kept playing like they did at the start this Test Match would've looked a lot different...
If sport was judged on the initial minutes then things would be different as well.

Can't see it from the angles shown in this clip but Carbery's disallowed try looked like he had grounded it. Did another angle show he hadn't?
Yep, he knocks it on and doesn't have pressure down - initially it "might" have been a high tackle and penalty try but it wasn't because it was shoulder etc
After seeing the other angles as well, his hand was in the process of slipping off the side of the ball so I guess he wasn't in control of it. Probably should've still been given it though as there was no separation
@@lazer_kiw1 I thought they had changed the rule to say as long as there was contact and no speration then it's a try. There doesn't seem to be any loss of contact

To my Māori brethren, I'm from South Africa (Tsonga). And I can't help but admire your language every single time, and I've always wanted to know what the "prayers" (if that's what I should call it) mean everytime when the commentators say before an All Blacks match? And how to say it
They are saying 'Hello' in every language the Maori/Pacific Island people here have. Because they are pushing out the English language and names now. They are all being persuaded to speak these languages and use them to replace European language and ways. The commentator can't even say New Zealand..it's very sad to watch..
