Mrs. Cara Brown, she is delightful. For me she may be the most warm heart and centered artist I’ve ever seen, here on Homeworthy and other channels: her pace to talk, her smile, her tone of voice, her humble pride and love for each of her artistic pieces and ID decisions. She doesn’t need questions, neither anyone to help her explain her house or any place or topic she knows. I imagine her gently and gracefully guiding us into her beautiful artistic world . Maybe because they were friends some comments and questions were like subtlety ‘what does she mean?’ but of course Cara Brown replied naturally. (maybe is just my idea, sorry). Thank you Homeworthy.
The homeowner is adorable. She is full of joy and graciousness. And she is very humble. We should all strive to be like her. She has a wonderful attitude , what a precious home !🥰
She is the epitome of the phrase "if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life." Her creative process is a joy and pleasure for her... not a job or a chore. Love, love, love her maximillism. As long as something moves you or speaks to your soul, to me , its a necessity . And I love that she honors the time and labor of love that someone spent on that needlepoint valance. What a treasure.
I was so happy to see another video with Ruth Mckeaney... she's definitely a favorite! I love this home and the owner... It always makes me feel so happy when someone loves their home and all of it's stories, which she most certainly does. I also enjoyed the girlfriend chit chat. They're two amazing women with two beautiful homes. Thank you HomeWorthy for sharing them.
Every time I watch a house tour I’m just so excited and grateful for the fun and inspiration touring someone else’s personal space gives-whether it’s my personal style or not. I loved everything about this… Especially all the girlfriend “chit-chat”. Thank you Homeworthy, Ruth and Cara!❤
What a fun tour. Great energy and just a joy to watch! You have heard us loud and clear raving about our friend, Ruth. Now she has introduced us to Cara!
Love the owner's personality, her she shed, embroidery in the kitchen and her entry way. The exterior is gorgeous! I can only imagine a team of people needed to keep the interior of the home clean!! 😂 So much stuff!
I moved from Mumbai India. I called New Jersey a home to almost 40 plus years. I am glad, she admitted jersey is not bad place to live. Many freedom fighters have a home here. And they fought the fight to give this country a freedom.
Very cute and happy home. I wouldn’t want to dust everything though! We, as Californians, were stationed in New Jersey for four years and unexpectedly fell madly in love with the state.
OMG thank you Homeworthy. So enjoyed every little story. I've never been able to understand the modern world of decorating there is so much history here . ❤❤
Cara Brown is a gem…herself! I read the article on her and her charming home in Flower Magazine last year. I felt like she could have welcomed us into her home beautifully….a talented, humble, sweet host and accomplished artist!
Very charming home! I love all of her art, collections and the stories behind them. It's a home that when entering, I would "ooh and ahh" at everything, taking it all in. It's very homey and cozy...plus, 300 years old. I love old antique houses. Lambertville is not too far from me and it's a great town, with a lot of charm, old homes, art and antiques. A great town for that. It's one of my favorite places to go. Thank you for the tour!
What a beautifully curated home. The collections are just incredible. Love the verse on the staircase. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.
Love, Love, Love. . .Nothing better than an artist's home. .. they are not "corporate soldiers". . .they are in touch with their souls calling. I so Wish I could have seen more of the house because I just loved it!!! Thank you so very much for sharing xoxox! Bravo!
Love Ruth as a home owner, cook and now host. Her natural ease in front of the camera makes this feel like a fireside chat between friends, not a “show”, as she draws out her subject’s story. Reminds me of Katie Couric. More Ruth please!
I love Ruth and it’s great to see her again. Cara is lovely too and so glad she shared her home with us. The house is beautiful with that English cottage feel that is my favorite. For me personally I could only handle about half the contents and I love maximalism. However I could easily find my half right there. So much decor and vintage and antique pieces to to love!!! The art is fantastic. But I think my favorite part was the stairs. The grounds are fabulous and being in the beautiful countryside gives it that quintessential English vibe that makes me salivate! LOL I thoroughly loved this episode of my favorite UA-cam channel.
This was a very special home and homeowner! I enjoyed the change of pace with the delightful conversation between the women. I also liked that the camera closed in to show some of the collections.
What a warm, gracious and happy person that really came through in the video and then into our homes. Thank you for sharing your curated home. It is inspiring to see that one can earn a living doing something artful and enjoyable.
Awww....when she mentioned she likes little things, it reminded me of what my grandmother said of her sister - that she loves little things. There's just something about tiny replicas. 🙂
This may not be for everyone, but I certainly enjoyed this time spent listening to the stories and seeing all of her wonderful finds with both of these special ladies. Thank you.
I was trying to do the math… she’s been married almost 30 years and she has two kids in college… she is so youthful I thought she was in her early 30’s. She has really fun disposition and I really enjoyed the stories she shared and also felt like she was so inspiring ✨🦋🧵🐚🍶💍🪶🪺🫙🫖
I’m glad that Mrs. Mckeaney is interviewing her friend Mrs. Cara about her 300 year home, in New Jersey. I liked the colorful painted stones. Do you see and listen there isn’t no pretension, something so many people showed when they’re wealthy, well-educated, & political astutely. These people are all of the above but they’re with their feet and mind on earth and that’s what I love to see and remove myself from my daily regular life in my second country the USA!🙏
What a great pairing. I would look forward to more house tours led by Ruth. Cara is a delight, and one can tell this is a home built around love and inspiration. Thank you. ❤️🌄
I love this home so much. I wish I could have seen more of her collections. Homeworthy, do you realize you showed that one tabletop collection NINE times? You’re better than that. Overall, another amazing tour and home.
What a treat this video is! Cara's home is lovely and so warm with all her family heirlooms. Also it is always such a joy seeing Ruth. She is so warm & friendly and I think she is an asset to Homeworthy!
I truly enjoy house and home tours and I appreciate the diversity in taste and decor even if it’s not my own personal tastes or preferences but I like to see what choices, preferences, history that makes that individual express themselves and family. While this tour is not my taste I am always looking for ideas that I can take away from each person’s style.
Enjoyed this very much. I can relate to both of these women. This home is magical and invites the eye for a feast. Collecting is so personal and it was a joy to see her collections. The home each one makes is a journey of personal experiences and it takes time to make this journey. I also love the hunt and the joy it brings.
♥️♥️♥️ this home and the creativity that gives it soul! Would love a Christmas tour in the future. Thank you so much for sharing this little jewelry box. 🎁 BTW: greetings from TX 😊
Enjoyed this tour!! Love the two friend's conversation as they move throughout the house. I love all the beautiful, special and personal touches! Leaving so inspired. 😊
These two women are powerhouses and such a joy to watch together.....I can definitely see why they are friends with their love of curated collections and historical homes. Cara's creations are lovely one of a kind pieces with history and stories.....what a treasure!! Her home is absolutely beautiful and unique to her and her family...just the way our homes should be!! Love her style and talent for putting it all together making a cozy, welcoming, interesting, and peaceful home. Thank you Homeworthy for this tour!!
I enjoyed this charming home tour and what a sweet warm homeowner. Not too crazy about a second person , its like she is interviewing the homeowner but has to tell her stories too? It’s was distracting to me. Love that she has Texas roots.
I have always loved all things that are beautiful and tell a story as well. I am originally from New Orleans and thought this artist was a kindred spirit who seems soulful. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Love that Ruth introduced us to this homeowner and they had a chat. Ruth always does a good interview. We got to get a bit of each of their own personalities and I could see commonalities such as their Christianity, love of home, etc. Nice! Cara has an interesting home. I'm trying to be kind here...sometimes I couldn't see the trees through the forest of items all around- a maxi-maximalist. Yet Cara is sweet, is definitely her own person, and looks much younger than being married almost 30 yrs & with adult children. Very interesting Homeworthy.
Hello, what a wonderful home! I love it! I couldn't believe this is in Lambertville. Cara you have so many beautiful and meaning pieces. I Love Lambertville and antiques. The meaning and beauty behind them is so warming. We have a store in a co-op The People's Store on the 2nd floor. We love it! We are in the process of opening a small store across the street on Union St. We deal in jewelry too new and old. Jewelry is fascinating how its made. I just ordered Ruth's book last week. I admire Ruth and ordered this book for the love of family. My family means everything to me. Cara I will have to look into your jewelry. Its really nice to hear that you love it in Lambertville. It's also really joyful to hear someone say they Love. I only ever hear myself say that. Cant wait to look up what you created. I agree with you Cara on the pieces that you've chosen for your home, you chose them because you love them, I do the same. I love to sit and look at my finds, I appreciate them. As homeworthy says it tells a story. Thank you so much for sharing this video.
Es una de las casas más preciosas que he visto en este canal. Maravillosa cada pieza, cada tesoro, un gusto impecable. Disfrute cada segundo de la casa!!!
This is my absolute favorite Home Worthy tour! Such a warm and delightful home owner who thoroughly enjoys each little find in her cozy welcoming space. I wish I could come visit and spend the afternoon with her drinking tea and chatting. ❤😊
It’s all about the details and the stories behind them. I can appreciate her love of miniatures and jewelry and collecting- I’m exactly the same way. I really love this lady and her proud patriotic side that she displays. 🇺🇸 Just delightful in every way!
Amazing house from the 1700s. Nothing better than a well loved old house IMO! HER collections are amazing! Cara has a lot of talent in arranging anything as we Cas see😊😍. I am looking for the name of her jewelery or her last name so I can check it out. Anyone know?
I hope Ruth takes us on a tour of her friend Linda Smith Davis’s (of New England Fine Living) house in New Hampshire! She has great taste and recently restored a gorgeous old house.
@@Coco-zu9ob Many of the people featured on Homeworthy have their own UA-cam and Instagram channels, Shelby from Pretty In The Pines and Linda Vater are just two examples. I've watched many Homeworthy episodes, and I must say this is my favorite! Modern homes with everything new just aren't very interesting. This home is so warm and CHARMING!
You are so good at finding interesting homes and homeowners who can talk about how their dwellings and possessions reflect their lives. The audio is great. What doesn’t work is setting the camera on auto focus with a small aperture. Camera shots going in and out of focus don’t work, especially when the viewer is trying to take in details. Otherwise your episodes are well put together, cheers to you!
As a collector of little things since age 18 mos. I love love the little chairs. Please tell which one was your original grandmother's chair? All so lovely.
Such a great episode and what a lovely lady. For me the house would be too full but these episodes where everything is so personal to the host are the best.

Love this house and all the collections. God bless the person that does the dusting.
Lol 😅
