I actually just listened to Teeth and I gotta day, Easier is way better. I’ll listen to it again. I have yet to listen to Wildflower. Also I’ll. Heck out the vault versions!

the song you had first heard is from 2014 and was a single for their debut album. easier is the debut single for their 4th album calm which came out a month ago. so yeah it’s vastly different. they took a big break between the 2nd and 3rd album, completely reinvented themselves, changed their sound, evolved and came back with the number 1 album “youngblood” (personally my favourite album ever) which even topped beyonce and jay z’s album on the billboard charts. i’d recommend you check out 2018 live performances of youngblood, more, if walls could talk and for something more emotional ghost of you. and of course as everyone mentioned, the vault.

I definitely think you might like the live from the vault version better, I hope you react to that. I also recommend wildflower, which is a very different vibe, but still super cool imo. Also, yes they are all the same guys from 2014 lol, they've definitely grown and matured

Really loved this video, and the song you may heard may have been She looks so perfect, which is an old one but massively popular, or maybe Youngblood which came out in 2018 and was played constantly on the radio and is one of their/their MOST popular song to this day
Wasn’t Youngblood, after I spent hours on this video I realized I heard Youngblood and saw the music video. I don’t listen to the radio, like, ever. If I do it’s sports, so I probably haven’t heard ANY pop or popular stuff unless my girlfriend shows me it. Also thanks so much for watching and your suggestions in the other comment!

Hey! Cool reaction. If you want to have a look at another song from this album you should check out Teeth, which came out a few months after this one. It's kinda different and I think fans love it more than easier
I would also recommend Youngblood which came out in 2018 (you mirth t have heard it it was a big hit!)
Haha you’re the third person to recommend Teeth. I checked it out, but I like Easier A LOT more. Love the “walking” guitars picking, the high voice, I just vibe with Easier a lot more.
their last two albums might be a bit more pop (but still have a LOT of rock and pop punk elements) but their live shows are MUCH more wild and 5sos live is honestly unbeatable.

She looks so perfect was also like the only song from them I've known for the last few years, then of course I've heard youngblood a lot on the radio but now that I started listening to their more recent songs I cannot believe how much they've grown. I'm in love with them ♥
been a fan since 2013 and it's been really cool to see them evolve from their pop/punk music style to what they make now which is very much pop but also soooo many other music influences as well tbh ! every album they've released really is so different sonically which is refreshing because as a fan you never wanna hear the same stuff more than once so it's really cool to see them reinvent themselves time and time again whenever they decide to release a new song or album
I’m all down for evolution. Will def be diving into their deeper cuts as well.
That jump from Easier to SLSP is definitely my favorite thing. My favorite way to listen to their stuff. Cut from new to old or old to new with no context.

Can you check out Amnesia? It’s from their first album, but it’s one of my favourites. I have one more request, and that’s Lie to Me (the version without Julia Michaels), I just prefer that version. Lie to Me is quite a personal and emotional song to the lead vocalist (Luke) and the lyrics are quite deep. Thank you and loved your video!

you should listen to this from the Vault in toronto it is darker and heavier and teeth from that same concert in a bar is amazing and so full especially Callum's Bass and Ashton's drums and michael guitar and luke's vocals wow
I laughed hard when he played SLSP.
Well, She Looks So Perfect came out in February 2014, so they were 16 (Luke-main singer), 17 (Michael-lead guitar, and Calum-bass), and 18 (Ashton-drummer). Now they're 23-25, they've grown a lot over the last 6 years.
I just realized my math is off. bump everyone up a year, they were 17-19 in 2014. 🙈 (and Cal was probably actually 17 too because his birthday is the end of January so he probably wasn't quite 18 when they filmed it.)
