Actually "cause we'd fall from grace, we're falling, yeah we'd fall from grace" is Ashton. Calum's part is "I love your hair in your face...oh you're a queen but uncrowned"
VIDEO 2 OF ASKING STEVEN TO REACT TO COVERS THAT 5SOS DID: you should watch the "no roots" cover that 5sos did and also the "dancing with a stranger" one, you can hear all of their voices so clearly!!
The one you noticed in Ghost of You is Calum the bassist, he sings the second most out of all four band members and hes the one that sings all of Wildflower in calm!
naruto’s raman no Calum definitely sings more than Michael. Michaels guitar parts I think have gotten more difficult so he mainly focuses on backup vocals, although sometimes he sings.

You should react to the “Meet You There Tour Live Album” by 5SOS. I think the album really encompasses what it’s like to be at a 5sos concert and you hear their vocals and how they perform live. I personally really love this album
okay so after watching, for the vocals : most of it is Luke who is the main singer, but they all do sing in this album (more than the others) for example, babylon is entirely sung by Calum (bassist), best friend (please find a better version cause its so good) is sung by Ashton (drummer) and the beginning of monster among men is sung by Michael (guitarist) and they do background vocals in a lot of the songs. also, fun fact they all wanted to diversify their music for this album so they all learned to play the piano and played with the genres as you saw! also the vocals in ghost of you that you pointed out was Calum singing :) if you came this far also please react to their meet you there live album cause its really good!
Ashton, the drummer sings Best Friend and he wrote it with Calum. You should def. Listen to the clean version because he doesnt sing that much and his vocals needs aprecciation!
You should check out their “cocktail chats” where they talk about each song. It’s great! Also I would recommend doing their album “Meet You There Tour Live” when they toured this album
You should listen to girls talk boys from the ghostbusters track next! The song was released before youngblood came out and after sounds good feels good. its a good representation of the boys really experimenting with genres but yet still paying homage to the pop rock esque style which they love.
19:56 the second part of ghost of you was calum the bassist hes fire and i can attest ghost of you is gorgeous live with lots and lots of hearts and camera lights and crying. One of The best parts of 5sos concerts is hands down the crowd there are just moments where they are stunned to silence as we sing the lyrics for them, especially amnesia its one of the most fan band intimate songs.
Luke: Main vocal, amazing voice, no further explanation needed Calum: The one you called out and the one who sang the entirety of Babylon and Wildflower Michael: The one with pop-punk sound, you can clearly hear it in the beginning of Monster Among Men Ashton: The who sang Best Friend, sorry that you got a crappy vocal edition in this, but he's actually very talented vocally, you should check out his vocals in Sounds Good Feels Good!
definitely check out the live album for their “meet you there” tour. one of their best tours, you’ll definitely be able to hear what they’re like live plus a bit of their personalities
okay the moment when you asked to tell you who is singing in ghost of you. it was calum, he's the main vocalist in wildflower if that helps you remember
You have to watch some live performances I have a longgggg list of some of my favourites: Permanent Vacation Live at Wembley Wrapped Around Your Finger Teeth at James Cordon All of the Vevo Certified Live performances Out of My Limit and Good Girls at Derpcon Voodoo Doll one mic, one take No Roots cover at BBC Dancing With a Stranger cover at BBC Drown cover at BBC I Miss You cover at BBC Teenage Dream cover at Sirius The Middle cover at Sirius What I Like About You cover at Jimmy Kimmel Jet Black Heart at Z session San Francisco live. It's called SOUNDS LIVE FEELS LIVE// SF LIVE Castaway Live at Rock in Rio Waste the Night live is amazinggggg
If you want to experience how these songs transition live, I HIGHLY recommend listening to the “Meet You There Tour Live” album. I think that one of the best things about this band is their ability to create a seamless live performance with transitions and how they position their songs live. IF and when the No Shame Tour happens I would recommend you checking it out. I feel like you’ll see them in their true element.
You should watch and react to the cocktail chats, they explain the meaning of this album track by track while getting drunk. It's really fun to watch and you can get to know them more personally. I'd love to see that :')
Meet You There tour live album ELVATED ALL THEIR SONGS of work i swear it elevated everything and the energy just off of listening to the audio is insane
YES!!!! you NEED to react to their previous albums, cocktail chats (a series on youtube where they talk about youngblood while drinking cocktails) & A FULL CONCERT OF THEIR MEET YOU THERE TOUR!!! they change the songs up SO much live and their honestly UNBEATABLE LIVE YOU WON’T UNDERSTAND UNTIL YOU WATCH IT
@steven You have heard 5SOS as a band, covering songs, and now I think you should hear them as a feature. They did a feature in the song Take What You Want to by One Ok Rock and it is AMAZING! I think you would love how their vocals mix with another band! :)
Thank you so much for reacting to this. Your reactions are always so good. You explain things well and I love hearing your opinions and thoughts. I’m so glad you enjoy this band as much as I do!
Babylon and More SLAP👏🏻 Also that singer that you wanted to know in Ghost Of You is Calum Thomas Hood, bass player extraordinaire, he’s also the main singer in Babylon❤️
I saw them live in Paris, Ghost of you was one of the most emotional moments ever We all had our flashlights out, I cried my eyes out x) You should listen to Lie to me acoustic (the harmonies are UNREAL). If you don't do it on your channel at least do it for yourself because you will love it
Honestly i appreciate your videos so much when it comes to 5sos. Because having someone like you with a following that is shedding light on how underrated this band actually is, is incredible.
that was calum singing that part in ghost of you. and calum sings the lead in wildflower. it seems like you enjoy calum’s vocals. you pointed his vocals out a couple times. it makes me happy!!
i really recommend watching the cocktail chats! the boys are talking about the production and the meanings behind the songs on youngblood. plus you get to know them better as people. i‘d love to see your reaction on these!🥰
8:31 the dog sneezing 😍 PS: The David Bowie frame at the background ❤️ My fav from Youngblood are: Youngblood, Moving Along, If Walls Could Talk, More, Lie to me and Valentine. The rhythm in the chorus of "Talk Fast" reminds me of Don't Stand So Close To Me by The Police :B And the rhythm (well, especially the drums) in the chorus of If Walls Could Talk kind of reminds me of Franz Ferdinand and I love it xD
I love hearing the point of view from someone who listened to the albums from calm to Youngblood I think it’s a awesome perspective. Bc all of us are coming from the stand point of having you blood first then calm
more and babylon are also two of my favourite songs of the album! babylon was their intro for myt-tour, that also worked so so well!! but i agree, it should have been a single. since it was only calum singing on that one as well, it was even more exciting to have wildflower as a single, because that is the only calum single we got so far! found that old zepplin shirt is calum singing 😊 thats also one of my favourite parts when they do this song live. he does a little note change there and it's so perfect. i'll send it to you on twitter! ashton and calum wrote best friend together as far as i know, so i guess it also was a bit of a fun writing session haha loved the video! 😊
22:49 trust me when I say this Steven, there is absolutely NO worry that we won't like some of the songs they put out. When I say this, I'm speaking from personal experience cause I have a playlist that I made on Spotify called 'FAVSOS' and it was supposed to be a playlist specifically for my favorite songs by them, but by the end of the week it just ended up being a playlist of all of their songs. When I say all, I mean *every single one*
The one you pointed out in Ghost of You was Calum, the bassist. He’s also the only one who sings in Babylon and Wildflower, so it explains why you like those too hahahaha. Cal is an amazing singer and he plays the role of second singer (I guess that’s what you call it) in the band. You should really check some more of their live stuff (maybe Meet You There Tour Live Album, it is fuckin amazing) so you could listen how amazing their vocals are live and how well they compliment each other at live shows. So happy you liked Youngblood, it’s a really important album for the guys because it was them finally (after a long long wait) finding the direction they wanted to go as musicians so it’s pretty special for them and for us too 🖤🖤
I got to see Ghost of You at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles . It was pouring rain and everyone had their phones out. It was absolutely amazing. Calum, the bassist, is to thank for the lovely vocals on the second verse. Literally one of my favorite songs on the album. Also! Highly recommend the live album they put out for their meet you there tour. 🙏🏻
If you want to hear more of the band members singing then listen to either their debut album or sounds good feels good, they sing so much more in them and have more verses
19:25 yes!!! the vibe during this song live is literally amazing and makes you feel proud to be a fan. and that was calum in that verse! you should also listen to their meet you there live album!! you can get a greater feel of their energy and how they play live
You should listen to their 'Meet You There live album' from their last tour!! It really shows their talent and energy they have live and the fan reactions! They play a few of their older songs and hits while also playing majority of Youngblood! including Meet You There which they remixed to play it live (more for people to jump around and mosh to), highly recommend :D
You mentioned several times how much you like the way 5SOS experiments with other genres so I'm obliged to ask you to react to Muse. They're mainly a... rock band? hard rock band? but they play A LOT with other different genres, to the point that Google labels them as a band that plays 'space rock' music (!!!) How cool is that?! Their albums sound really different one from the other but I think you would love all of them, specially "The 2nd Law" since it has a dubstep song for which they recorded all the sounds with actual instruments! Also, Matt Bellamy's vocals sound exceptional on that record. Loved this reaction, by the way. I've been following 5SOS since 2013 so it's really heartwarming to see them get the recognition they deserve :)
Fun fact!! Best friend is something that was inspired by a moment Ashton, the drummer, had with Calum and he's the one singing the verses on that song!!
Main vocalist is Luke Hemmings- also the rhythm guitarist The part you specifically asked about is Calum Hood, he’s the bassist. If you hear a grittier punk sounding vocal, it’s usually the guitarist Michael Clifford, and the drummer is Ashton Irwin who also has some solo parts. I would recommend watching their “Cocktail Chats” where they broke down the process of this album and you’ll get to learn about the band members 🤗
The first thing on my notifications this morning! Ahhh thank you Steven once again! 🤘 and that was Calum Hood singing there 🥳 Also Babylon was the song they opened their Meet You There (Youngblood album) tour!
BTW the second part of Ghost of You "cleaning up today. Found that old zeppelin shirt..." you asked who sang it. Its Calum Hood, the bassist. He's also the main singer on the "Babylon" track.
The one you pointed out in Ghost of You is Calum Hood, he's the bassist in the band and also he's the one who sang Wildflower! 💚 . Also, check their 2nd Album, Sounds Good Feels Good
in ghost of you its calum singing!! also i really appreciate how you also listened to the target edition tracks bc most people don’t and they end up being really good. also i think you would like the meet you there tour live album because the songs sound very different than the recorded versions!! also fun fact the drummer (ashton) sings basically the entirety of best friend.
"who is singing right here" Calum Hood my king
He also sings Babylon (which sadly wasn't a single, but a deluxe track) and Wildflower!
When he pulled out the phone flashlight I was I was like: omg such a fkn mood.
the second verse from ghost of you is a blessing
Calum my beautiful lane 😍😍😍
*me from the first second* : i cant wait for babylon
Omggg same
Me with more😅
literally lmao
Yesss
The vocal you pointed out in Ghost of You was Calum and it's actually one of my favorite vocal moments of his on the album!
omg mine as well, especially when he switches it up when he sings it live!
Savannah O iconic !

Your opinion about babylon is every 5sosfam opinion 😂, they really did missing out for not making it a single and btw calum sings the whole song
The one you noticed in Ghost of You is Calum the bassist, he sings the second most out of all four band members and hes the one that sings all of Wildflower in calm!
Isabella Duron hmmm I don’t think he’s the second most that’s obviously Michael. But he should, also Ashton
naruto’s raman no Calum definitely sings more than Michael. Michaels guitar parts I think have gotten more difficult so he mainly focuses on backup vocals, although sometimes he sings.

Can confirm: Ghost of You watched live is just a punch to the gut. At least here in Montreal, everyone had their lights up and I was bawling 15/10
Please please PLEASE listen to their cover of “No Roots”
To get a feel for each member's voice, I'd recommend searching here on UA-cam "5 Seconds of Summer Color Coded Lyrics."
Luke: Main vocal, amazing voice, no further explanation needed
Calum: The one you called out and the one who sang the entirety of Babylon and Wildflower
Michael: The one with pop-punk sound, you can clearly hear it in the beginning of Monster Among Men
Ashton: The who sang Best Friend, sorry that you got a crappy vocal edition in this, but he's actually very talented vocally, you should check out his vocals in Sounds Good Feels Good!
THATS LITERALLY MY EXACT REACTION TO BABYLON it wasn’t a single tho :( I completely agree it would’ve done so well on the radio
"This song sounds like an emo song"
Luke: "I say that I am the emo Shawn Mendes"

Also, Matt Bellamy's vocals sound exceptional on that record.
Loved this reaction, by the way. I've been following 5SOS since 2013 so it's really heartwarming to see them get the recognition they deserve :)
I love that you actually say it when you don't like a song that much instead of just lying to please us. Respect
😭😭yesss thank you!!!!
Fun fact!! Best friend is something that was inspired by a moment Ashton, the drummer, had with Calum and he's the one singing the verses on that song!!
God I've been waiting for this reaction very patiently and now that it's here. I'm ready.
Main vocalist is Luke Hemmings- also the rhythm guitarist
The part you specifically asked about is Calum Hood, he’s the bassist.
The line in ghost of you was sang by the bassist calum :) he was also the one mainly singing on Babylon!
i woke up saw the notification AND RAN DOWN THE STAIRS OPENED MY LAPTOP DROPPED EVERYTHING AND WATCHED
